Artificial sweeteners

this is the pure concentrate, its powder with a little plastic scoop, instructions said one little heaped scoop is one spoon equiv. reviews seem to show some is better than others. not sure, its got a very recognisable flavour.
but I didn't buy it for coffee anyway

So got a 50ml glass bottle mit eyedropper, added 25ml PG and 25ml VG and one little scoop of stevia, shook the crap out of it and put I think 2 drips in my current ego C tank.
jury is still out..

I claim fail at this point in time, flavour was ok at the strength and it seemed to increase TH and give a sort of "fullness" to the vape in the mouth, but .. well it rapidly started a usual burnt taste, on an hours old ego C atty running almost pure PG with a dekang juice, unheard of.
$19 .. curiosity sated, anyone wanna buy an almost unused tub of stevia

 

I'm a little dissapointed in the reports back on Stevia. I got a friend sending me out some from the city. I have just now found out I can improve my cola juices with taste and sweetness with a touch of JW Musk stick juice. It also brings out the sweetness in the citrus juices ie orange, lemons and limes.

 

OK reporting back on the Stevia I got.

After an initial drop on my finger tip and taste mmmmm not bad, a slight "other" taste but not bad. I then had a cuppa and I'm a 4 tab sweetner tab guy. I put the equivilent in Stevia, yup sweet enough but the "other" taste was blurrrrggghhh. Not quite aniseed but definitely that yuk "medicine" taste and it coats your mouth. 8( I'm not puting it anywhere near a vape. Well theirs another 20 down the gurgler. lol

I think I will do what some have suggested and use some cotton candy flavour in my mixes.

Apparently COKE are looking to use Stevia in Diet, but unless they can cancel out that "other" flavour, it doomed to fail.

 

apparently its used in diet drinks in japan as artificial sweeteners are banned, Looks like a stevia coke is in planning using a stevia extract called truvia.
