Anti Slip Mat

I have a lot of trouble opening tanks when filling or re-filling and going for plyers isn't a good idea comse they wreck the tank.

Recently I had one that I just could not open despite all my effort.

I pulled out an anti-slip matt square I had and it's just made the job so much easier and simple.


Recommend it for all who have problems like I do!

 

Even the biggest and strongest have trouble at times, your grip mat suggestion is great and removes the need for pliers most of the time :adoration:

They can open the stubbornest tanks most times :smug:

 

ive been using these anitslip rings. i stick them over the tank glass or base and twist.
Best thing being silicone they come in millions of colours and prints

I didn't really connect the idea of the silicon rings with the gripping factor, now it makes real sense, duh!

 

All great ideas yes! I dont have an anti slip mat to use but, I found using an old T-shirt with the rubber printing on it, also works a treat.

 

I got one too fossil, great piece of kit

 

+1 on the Tupperware jar opener. I bought a second one and cut into 4 strips. I put 2 on a key ring and 2 in my vape kit. Idea courtesy of someone on here.
