Steeping Premix (VG)

I have some premix 24mg %100 PG.. and was thinking to add %5 VG to see if that adds a 'little' to the vape. Do i have to steep a premix i add VG to?? Also would i be right to say that if i put 2ml of the 24mg premix with 1ml pure VG that will give me 16mg PG 60 VG 30??

 

Rylee, 2/3 strength, so 16mg. Ditto PG/VG mix, that will be 67%PG 33%VG

 

If you want 18mg, use 3ml @24mg and 1ml of VG. Your mix will be 75%PG 25%VG

 

thanks gtadmin.. what about steeping.. do i need to let it sit.. or can i sample on the spot??

If the premix is already steeped then the final mix will also be. But ... I don't worry about steeping nowadays

 

done and dusted. 18mg %75PG %25 VG.. not bad.. but i know see what you all mean by adding PG/VG u knock the flavour level down a notch.. Im with margyb. 50/50 with doublers seems to be a good starting point.. (just waiting for my 1lt 36mg nic to arrive (stares at mailbox longingly))

Rylee, did you get this as a PG base or VG base? If it's PG, get your doublers at 50%PG50%VG to end up with 18mg 75%PG25%VG (or doublers at 60%PG40%VG for an end mix of 80%PG20%VG). If you got it with VG base, you won't be able to have any less than 50%VG if your mixing to 18mg
