It has been a while since I added a chapter to this thread but I did promise some pics of my non elegance tanks. So slightly late here is my birthday vape display box.

This is actually the story of Mr XX so I take no credit for the craftsmanship displayed in these photos but all the kudos for keeping him calm when he blew up his sanding machine and wiping his fevered brow when it looked like the coating was going to crack.

The main wood of this box is ghost gum, harvested from a huge tree that came down across our creek during a particularly nasty storm, one & half years ago. Any dark spots you might see are blood spilled by me as we tried to cleared it from the raging river (normally a bcomtiful creek) at the bottom of our place. The accents are black swamp wattle and redwood wattle.

So all my love and thanks for this wonderful gift and the love he puts into them.

The craftsmanship is bcomtiful. Nice collection XX. On a completely unrelated note, where do you live, when will you be out and where do you keep the box?

 

Mr XX is a very clever and skilled man.

I took yours out.

I have yet to work out what I want for the tray so they are just lined up. It will probably be a three tier block so you can see them all properly.

The new vape stand came out of the man cave this afternoon. It's not finished and still needs coating.

 

You may think its a piece of outdoor furniture but it's actually for my billet boxes with room for expansion of the collection.
