Mixing flavours using calculators

Hi all,

I can't seem to wrap my head around the JuicemeUp calculator even WITH the help pages. (I sucked at math at school, sorry)

What I am trying to achieve :

30ml of flavoured 11mg/nic at a 70/30 pg/vg blend.

Items I have at my disposal :

38mg unflavoured nic 75/25 pg/vg blend.
100% pg
100% vg
Various 5ml doublers from JW

Any ideas please?

9.2ml nic juice
0.62ml vg
5.2ml pg
15ml doubler

to make 30ml of 11mg
at 75%pg 25%vg

 

And how did you get to that conclusion, just so I can try and understand it?

[EDIT : So if I am using doublers, I can only make twice as much as the amount of doubler I have? EG : 5ml of banana doubler will make 10ml of banana flavoured nic? Won't 50% flavour be too strong?]

a doubler is meant to be mixed 50/50 hence you double the amount you start with
it is not a flavour concentrate

 

Doublers are concentrates mixed with pg or vg already to make it easy for us to just do 50/50 mixes. You can do more or less if you want but the flavour is supposed to be mixed at 50/50 to get the best result. So to answer your question yes you can only really make double the amount you have so 5ml will turn into 10ml once mixed with your nic.

Its the concentrates that are really strong that you only mix a couple of drops in your mix.

its really easy to use

1. adjust your nic juice strength and pg vg ratio eg 75% 25 % 36mg

2. adjust your target strength eg 11mg

3. adjust amount to make eg 10ml

4 go to flavour 1 and put in 50% if you are using doubler adjust pg to 80% and vg to 20%

5.go down to the ingredient list and change your final pg vg ratio

6. click calculate

This is the part that gets me, I think. How do I know that the flavour I am using is 80/20 pg/vg? Or am I looking at this entirely the wrong way?

 

That one doesn't give me the option of setting a final pg/vg ratio?

 

Yeah i know i just divided it by 3, to get roughly 1/3 vg and the rest pg. You will have to look on the JW website to see what ratio your doublers are. Dont worry too much about getting the ratios perfect, its good to have some pg and some vg in there, and you will so it should be fine.
