Hey guys, first time poster here.

Been lurking for a few weeks but decided to join up since I've run into a problem.

I purchased an ego one xl a few weeks ago and have been vaping using mt baker vapour juices. Overall it's been a pleasant experience. I was using the 1ohm atomizer and it's been great.

About a week ago, I dropped the ego one onto some tiles and noticed a little crack in the glass tank. I decided to replace it. After a few days research I decided I would replace the ego one standard tank with a silo lite as it has a little bit more of a tank capacity.

I received the package today and filled her up using the 1.6 ohm atomizers I purchased separately. I immediately noticed a terrible taste when vaping. The wick is saturated so I'm not getting dry hits. It's just an overall unpleasant sort of burning taste with no sweetness. The vapour is comseating. I then switched it out for the 2.1ohm atomizer and the same thing is happening.

What the hell is happening here? I'm using the aspire bvc coils.

    Thanks in advance.

I'd say a wash is in order. Could be machine oil in the tank. I'd go to quite some lengths cleaning the tank as much as possible.

I also remember the aspire sub ohm batteries shouldn't be used for anything over 1 ohm. I wonder if the same applies for the ego one batteries, which effectively work in the same way as the aspire ones.

If your new, add your location to your profile and do a quick introductory post in the newbies thread. And as far as your problem goes id wash the tank out, put a new coil in and let it sit for a minute or so to soak in then do 5 or so dry pulls to make sure its fully wicked then start by lowering your power and adjusting up from there. :)

So it seems to be vaping ok now with a particular flavour after I gave it a good soak in some hot water.

If it starts to dry even slightly it can taste foul, but still put as much vapor etc out

I use ego one with high vg juice. Between draws i do 4-5 dry pulls
