My first ever custom order - ELEAF ISTICK 30W + ASPIRE NAUTILUS MINI BVC CLEAROMIZER

Hi fellow canuk vapers,
Firstly, happy canada day!
Some of you may already know me from my first post in here last week.
I just want to say I've been vaping since Friday Jan 16, 2015 and haven't touched a cancer stick since and am loving everyday that goes by I'm cigarette free! :very_drunk:

Initially, I wanted to buy a box mod istick + secondary itaste for on the go vaping.
Fortunately, unit562 (James) was generous enough to pass on his Vision Spinner + Kanger Protank Mini 3 + two ejuices photo attached, which i used to experiment vaping for a few days which was amazing with the thin pen style design and variable volts, however I knew I had to still purchase the bigger box mod I was craving, for extra watts for that added flavor taste, huge vape clouds with a longlasting battery life.
I will still hold on to the Vision Spinner until something new comes out/or when I get bored with it and will one day pass it on to someone else looking to start vaping.

So my mind was set at Vapeking for my first purchase. Brian and the team at VAPEKING were absolutely amazing, informal and prompt with my emails and offered the most exceptional customer service i have ever received online. Paid for order @ 11:59am, arrived at my doorstep next day @ 8:00am (via Express post).

Still haven't purchased Nicotine yet, I want a final 60%/40% result & can't seem to find a trust worthy, top quality, cheap + quick delivery vendor overseas yet that sells 50%/50%18mg of nicotine so when I mix 50/50 nicotine/ejuice I get 9mg of nicotine from the mix.
Any recommendations??

I absolutely love the eleaf istick 30w!!!!! so much punch for a small thing. Ive been vaping it since Thursday night and its now Sunday night and i still have over half of battery life left. So I'm assuming it'll last me 5-6 days before recharging.
The lung hit and flavor at 30w is absolutely mesmerizing and feels like im blowing on cloud nine, even at 20w it still produces a high amount of flavor and cloud.

The eleaf istick 30w + .comtilus mini combo is an eye catcher and everyone who's asked me about it whether they're intending to quit cigarettes or for their partners - have all been intrigued and I have nothing but great words for it and will continue to promote vaping for everyone who intends to quit. We need to spread the word about this remarkable creation and I've been nothing but positive since I've started vaping.

Finally, to all the senior members thank you for welcoming me to the community and to the newly registered members, i truly recommend the 30w if you're wishing to start , i know i wont be upgrading anytime soon!!!

Have just received my first unflavoured Nic juice (36mg 50/50 ) from Indigo Vapor. Delivery was 8 days with full tracking. Did some cost calculations for 9mg juice using Vapeking triplers and extra pg and/or vg. 10ml comes in at $2.75. Very happy with that )
I have looked on Health Cabins site and nic juice is even cheaper. However I really wanted to try Indigos Eastwood. Wow this is really nice. Have been vaping it for 4 days straight. Love love love it.

 

I think thats an expensive way to buy nic either way. I realise you are new to all this but I would go 10% nic (100mg/ml). If you do it that way you can get it in PG and be.comse of the high strength you have more freedom to mix to your desired ratios. Just purchase some plain PG and VG to dilute it and off you go.

You will just need to be careful with the 100mg. Wear safety glasses and gloves etc.

I purchase my nic from HiLiq. It has recently gone up in price but its still very reasonable. I tested my last 100mg batch at 96mg but it was just a rough test. I didn't have a burette for accurate measure so the 4mg discrepancy was probably on my part. It took about a week to get to me here in the post.

If you are truly set on just getting the 18mg, you could buy some of each. For example, you could get 250ml of 18mg/ml PG and 250ml of 18mg/ml VG and either use half and half or mix them together in a bigger bottle. From HiLiq you can get both for around $20 + ph. Thats half a litre all up and should keep you going for a bit.

I wont put the links be.comse this place does also sell pure nic. Make sure you don't go anywhere near the experts pure nicotine. You will find what you need under the DIY E-Liquids menu.

 

I can see you are only trying to help but its not a good idea mentioning the name of a vendor that sells pure nic, particularly in the newbies section. Too much room for disaster to strike.

Nah you don't... It's not pure nicotine. Not that dangerous. It's only 10% concentration. If you drank it you would have a problem though.

Many DIYers get their nic from myfreedomsmokes. Costs about $40-$50 per litre for 100mg nic. Pretty good quality, much better than Chinese manufacturers (Health Cabin, HiLiq etc..), and also distilled from tobacco leaf, rather than synthesised. If you get 100% PG it stores better.

Then buy your pg and vg locally. If you look around the site there are some good threads on it. I get mine at Ebotanics, quality has been good for me. Though others have had problems in the past.

 

Other extraction processes exist which don't involve those compounds, that's just a more cost effective way of doing it large scale.

 

And this seems to be one of those times where it's just not like that.

Youre assuming newbies only look in this section? I think its better to educate than avoid the topic. When I first started out I very nearly made the mistake of buying 99% nic be.comse I didn't know about it. It was a topic like this one discussing the dangers that prevented me from making the mistake.

Many vendors sell the pure stuff. HiLiq makes it very clear that the 99.9% is only for experts and is extremely dangerous. More so than some other places I have seen. Some don't even label it properly. They seem to take safety very seriously....they even glue the lids on their 10% stuff for shipping! I also mentioned to stay away from it. I wasn't promoting it in any way.



I think protecting your skin and eyes is also important. Chemicals can be absorbed just as quickly from the skin and eyes as the stomach....maybe even quicker with eyes, and if you are going to be flicking air bubbles out of syringes and stuff, covering your eyes is a good idea A fume hood is probably going too far though

To my knowledge HiLiq also distils their nicotine from tobacco leaves. Its from Indian tobacco crops I think. All their stuff is FDA approved. I've never had a problem with them. Tastes just like any US nic to me but better than the one other Chinese vendor I tried.

 

I have a clean air box for my mycology... Never used it for mixing juices though. If I ever get some on me (100mg) I just wipe it off. No drama.
