accurate and reliable ohm meter.

The FT ones are a bit of a lottery and might not work for long (or it might, who knows). Mine had a small insulating ring fall out that wont go back in and you can read reviews of shoddy wiring and 510 connectors not making proper connection. You can also use a multi-meter but the ohms might not go low enough depending on the meter and sometimes it can be a bit of a fiddle. Its also useful to have a reliable meter be.comse with my Squape[R] the 510 pin is the weak point using it in temperature control on a VaporShark rDNA40. The pin only needs to be a 1/4 turn out for the temp control not to work and it fires at maximum watts and if its an iffy meter then I need to fiddle some more be.comse everything needs to be stable on these things.

This was my experience and safely building a coil and battery safety is always the priority, a meter is essential unless you use a vw mod that already displays ohms.
There is a US made meter in this forum that you might want to look at and maybe join the list before it expires. The canuk dollar is pretty poor so the group buy improves the price. I must stress too that this is a not for profit matter and not even a promotion be.comse safety and especially battery safety is something that should be in the minds of every vaper ...even n00bs like you and me.....
