Does anyone else have problems with the steam engine coil wrapping calculator? Every time I try to use it my coils come out significantly lower than what is predicted. For example Last time it should have been 1.3-1.6 but I'm getting 0.96 ohms. I've also noticed that watching pbusardos videos the resistance he gets is a lot different from mine (28g 2.25mm bit 6/7 wraps give him 1.4 but 28g 2.4mm 8 wraps gives me the above).
Any body have a similar issue?

Think you might have a short somewhere, or your ohm meter is out.

Though its possible I get this every single time. In different atties with different wires; and even different wrapping methods (freehand; jig; kuro style wrapper)
As to a short I haven't seen any evidence of that. The coils heat up well; glow evenly and perform well...just off from the predicted.
I also get the same reading on my meter, ipv mini and istick so I'd say the reading is accurate.

possible that it's not...I could take it too work and measure the diameter:p But the 28g came from vapoureyes, 30g from HOV and 27g from healthcabin so I'm pretty sure it's as labelled ;)
