Newbie here - recommendations on vapors, price, quality & vendor/s

Hi all,
I'm new to this whole vaporizing scene but am clearly clueless on what's a great brand to buy and from who/where and came across this site, thought I'd join and ask you experts what and who to purchase from.
My background: I smoke +/-10 rollies aka rolled tobacco of winfield gold daily. I want to quit the tobacco for health and convenience purposes.

Firstly, I have high expectations and will most likely want the first e-cig i purchase to be my long lasting one.
- budget $50-100
- high quality vapor volumes when exhaling (can someone pls explain a great coil ohm and battery volt ratio?)
- smooth liquid vaporizing / liquid taste
- high quality coils
- doesn't burn my throat too extremely
- prefer to purchase from trusted vendor and preferably in Melbourne


This is what I've come across, please advise of your..
- thoughts about Vendor, product & price?
- recommendations of similar products/trusted Melbourne Vendors/top grade?

Id recommend going for the custom kit in there

istick 30w + .comtilus/.comtilus mini tank with BVCoil. Does your budget also account for liquid + nic or just hardware?

If you arent going to do DIY nic then you are going to need to buy your liquid from overseas with nic already mixed in it. I will let other members with more knowledge of nic give you advice on that

For hardware, Vape King are fast and reliable and relatively cheap. An iStick 30 watt and a .comtilus mini will give you the best vape, and the iStick has plenty of power should you eventually develop a taste for "volume vaping".

$50-100 budget is pretty much going to get you a beginner set up that will need upgrading if you have high expectations. istick/Silo tank with Aspire BVC coils is probably about the best basic setup you could get. I don't own an istick but they get a fair bit of praise for a cheap device. I wouldn't have high expectations of a starter kit.

@vapetoomuch and @c'baoth, thanks for your responses, I'm sensing a common theme here the "Istick" . I haven't heard of it but will look into it.
So you only recommend purchasing from Vapeking? You don't rate the ce5 at all?

CE5 is old tech clearomisers which were ok in old times. but not so good in performance if you compare the new stuff around

 

Thanks guys yep will definitely keep that in mind, however for my own newbit calculated maths can you please tell me if this is correct?
if I buy No Flavour Nicotine which is 36mg 100%PG nicotine, and if i mix it with an ejuice 10ml/10ml (to get 18mg of nic) with a doubler 60%PG/40%VG - this will give me 80%PG/20%VG result from the mixed 20ml am i correct?

Yep i agree! Thing is healthcabin would be better option for the nicotine rating I'm after, but apparently flavourvapes NZ No Flavour Nicotine 120ml are cheaper due to the NZ dollar being lower and closer to.comst so faster shipping times. But only have 100%PG nicotine in stock, so I have to work around this right?

You could always work with a tripler to get closer to the ratio you want.

It gives you wiggle room to adjust ratios. Instead of double the flavour its three times. You then add your own PG and VG to get the right mix.

Personally I would get both types of nic.
