Starting too look at vaping, pretty overwhelmed with the different stuff you can get
I'm looking at buying a beginner kit from VapeKing, but, I'm not sure if buying 2nd hand kits is safe, anyone got information on that?

PRetty excited to try it for the first time though...

Kits from Vapeking are new.

 

Starter kits are cheap enough for a start I've never bought second hand. As you progress through your personal vaping experience you will upgrade and try bigger and better things that second hand may be the better option.

 

From what I'm reading, it'll be a pretty big change aswell as the hardware you use :')

Like...what usually comes in a kit just so I know what to order?

 

IMHO steer clear of ebay kits. not many people source from ebay more than once. you may as well start supporting the local vendors now, or buy from OS vendors that are posted about regularly here. The experience will be much better than an unknown ebay option.

 

I've recommended the deluxe starter kit from vape king and they weren't dissapionted . Juice is no nic though.

 

Yu will need minimum the following:

2 batteries (something like an ego twist) the bigger the Mah the better
2 clearomisers (probably a protank/.comtilus/evod) and 10 replacement coils at 1.8 ohms
2 usb chargers (they're cheap)

A months worth of juice. plan on average 5ml a day. probably need to start with 24mg-18mg juice. You'll probably want to explore tobacco flavours untill you workut for your self that there is much more to vaping than that.

 

That is so correct. I started looking for the tobacco hit but have moved to sweeter vapes.

 

Yep, but it is a trip we must all go down for ourselves. There are plenty of us here that are happy with a baccy based flavour.... but lots of us move on after realising there is no real way to replicate the ashtray taste. Many juices do go real real close, but as your tastebuds come to life again your preferences will change.

 

Cheers Guys, I'm trying to figure out, vapor doesn't create smoke right? I enjoy the occasional smoke tricks whenever I get bored while I'm outside smoking, or just in the car, what's the go here, trying to find out as much information as possible before I make the commitment, and yeah, I'm planning on ordering the VapeKing starter ki (29.95?) one, whats the postage time? I'm on my last pack of bond street 26s, usually i smoke em in 2 days..so, should I be prepared to go without smoking for a day or so?

 

postage will be a few days. Wanna blow smoke rings huh? You can do that. Its easier with a juice that has a high vegetable glycerine percentage. .... whats a high VG? 60% +.... I'd start out at 50/50 VG/PG untill you know what works for you. This will be fine

I couldn't wait, my money was burning my pocket, so I purchased a royale e vapor starter kit, now I'm sitting here like...how can I mod it, however, I'm missing my tobacco, god am I missing it, it's like...annoying me, I finished one of the 2 10ml liquid I got, and I getting frustrated and snappy...guys what can I order, I think I want a big vapor hit, god I miss smoking

 

Brenttbd there are no rules around vaping and no one here judges you. Many members dual use until they find the right combo of Eliquid, gear etc. if you have a read through the vaping stories you will see the variety of ways people switched to vaping. Don't panic

 

Are you vaping nic yet? It seems that you've just ordered your starter kit locally, so I'd assume you haven't yet had time to import some nic?

It may be difficult without nic to satisfy those pesky cravings... Like crisscross said, dual using may be an answer if you haven't got any nic yet.

But stick with it! There are sooo many people here to help, sooo many success stories - it's possible and you'll get there.

Cheers man, yeah I'm forcing myself to not buy cigarettes, the point of starting to vape was to lower the price, I feel as if I'm not getting big enough hits, I'll try find the specs of the kit I got, but, I've already starting looking into modding, what are some basics to modding? I've got a few websites with supplies for modding, I just want to know how far in I'll be sucked into this, also, I haven't ordered nic yet, I'm trying to find out where I can order it without getting any import fines (as it's illegal to import it isn't it?)

 

I got my nic from health cabin, no issues at all with importing. Not too privvy to the legalities of the whole thing, but most of us are doing it relatively regularly without issue.

IMO, it'd be hard to stop the smokes without any nic... But, once my starter kit arrived (with nic) , I smoked the rest of my pack that same day and haven't looked at another ciggie since.

In terms of mods, I'm not that experienced tbh. I have a MVP v2 which is my out of the house vape paired with my .comtilus mini (awesome set up for someone new imo). At home I typically stick with my Hana Modz DNA 30 clone (which i do NOT recommend) with either my Magma or plumeveil, though these never leave the house. The DNA 30 clone is bad quality, but it's the only mod I have which will power my drippers - which i love.

Honestly, everyone has a different style and likes different things - I'd suggest watching some youtube review vids for some ideas. Personally, I started watching the indoorsmokers vids, he shows some decent vv and vw mods which are good for clearo type vaping. If you start feeling the "rebuildable itch", maybe check our some riptrippers vids (on VERY low volume)

I highly suggest getting some nic, and watching some vids - it's all about the research and trying things - you'll find what your looking for

 

Importing nic is 100% legal, no problem there.
To get some in a hurry soulblu in NZ can send some to you within a couple of days, not the best juice out there, but quick & gets the job done - I started out on soulblu stuff.

You need nic, will be very hard to switch to vaping without it, start out with around 18mg juice.

Don't worry about mods etc for now, concentrate on getting some nic & finding some flavours you like.

From there look at getting some nic in from the US or UK - I get 1L at a time in 48mg & mix it with local flavour doublers & PG/VG to get it to the strength I want.
