Ramble

Going with those for categories to start with. Misc should serve to cover anything else hopefully.

For the moment we'll go with the same deal as the other hardware project, as it seems to be working all right, and keep this thread as just me talking to myself.

Obviously may be subject to change later as circumstances dictate or the nice people in the white coats finally catching me.

Comments: Very basic cheap charger. They work but are very slow, especially with high capacity batteries. Good as a throw in the drawer backup or testing the waters of mods and batteries. If you end up using it a lot I'd recommend upgrading to something a little better with a better charge rate.

Comments: Reliable, good quality charger. Much quicker charging rate as compared to the trustfire and displays a rough idea of what charge state each bay is in. Charge rate does go down when mixing bays 1&2 with 3&4. Has withstood 12 months of careless abuse by me without breaking, so that's a big plus.

Name: Ego Battery - available in many different capacities - generally 650mah, 900mah, 1100mah. Gets longer with higher capacity.
Description: 3.7V battery, built in over discharge protection and charge circuit. 5 presses to turn on/off (copies may be 3, 4 or 5 presses). Button will flash when discharged
Price: $5-20 (depending on what and where)
Other Costs (Postage): Yes
Comments: The great allrounder. Dependable, easy to use. YMMV with copies. Will Also need Ego Charger. Clean charger and battery connector regularly to avoid juice buildup.
The outside threads are what are referred to as "Ego threading" and the inside threads are what's referred to as "510 threading or a 510 connector".

Name: CE4 Clearomiser AKA Stardust, plus a million copies
Description: Single Coil Top coil disposable clearomiser
Price: 1.5-5
Other Costs (Postage): yes
Comments: One of the most popular clearo's for vendors. Great to start with, but you'll be wanting more very soon. Can be "dry burned" to increase service life, but generally a throw away item. Easy to fill, and get the hang of vaping. Typical 1.8 ohm coil, attached to Ego battery. Warmish vape as the coil is up the top.
Where to buy: In every knockoff starter kit, and from all online stores and B+M stores

Name: Evod Clearomiser
Description: Bottom Coil Clearomiser, replaceable Coil Head
Price: 2-5
Other Costs (Postage): yes
Comments: Bottom Coil clearomiser 1.5ml capacity. Single Coil head screws in from the bottom and is replaceable. Very popular, works well. Cooler vape than the CE4 as the coil is at the base. Coils can be 'dry burned' to increase service life. Keep the base, and top, replace the coil. Plastic tank, so no tank cracker juice for this one.

Description: Bottom Coil Clearomiser 2.5-3ml
Price:15-20, but coming down as this is V1

Comments: Like the Evod - they take the same Coils. Comes in Chrome, glass tank, so no need to fear tank cracker liquids. Single Coil head screws in from the bottom and is replaceable. Very popular, works well. Cooler vape than the CE4 as the coil is at the base. Coils can be 'dry burned' to increase service life. Keep the base, and top, replace the coil.
