Hi Maggie, I did buy a bottle of 36mg "canuk doubler" with my last indigo order. Haven't tried any of the canuk juices yet though. Any recommendations for a decent tobacco vape? I've been eyeing off a couple from vapebar recently.

I'm no expert but so far my fave is definitely organic Best Damn Tobacco made by Virgin vapes , I bought mine from Timmah of Very Good Vapes in Perth ... no doubt others with more vaping exp. will be along with more suggestions but I love tovbaccp types and that's just the best flavoured I've bought so far :)
( it's all in vg so easy just to add nic and pg ... no fussing around ..)

Vapour Eyes makes really good juice, I'd recommend them to anyone, but I haven't got around to trying the tobacco yet ( still steeping) if it's anything like Mo's other juice, it'll be grand..

    Hi Stickman.
If you liked stronger tobaccos and rollies, I liked alchemy from kritike/vapebar the most. I preferred it over Charm for example.
From international vendors, similar is liqua traditional tobacco, cheap from Health cabin or fasttech
I've since moved on from those types of flavours (and could never find a half decent 'cigarette tobacco' type one here or from China, and wouldn't really want to anymore anyway)

Lots of people like vapekings tobacco types though.
If you are getting alchemy from VB, definitely try some redox (dark cherry tobacco and probably my favourite of 'tobacco' types but ti needs 3 weeks steeping to develop into how I like it, before that I am not a happy camper), also try some other flavours from the .comldron that aren't tobacco types too, most of them I've been happy with, more so than other canuk doubler vendors.

Thanks for the advice guys! I got a starter kit today thru a local supplier Vapebar who offer same day pick up service.
2 vision spinner batteries, 5 cartomisers, usb charger, ejuice (i chose menthol to try get missus on board, seems
to be working haha) and a free sample doubler. I'm already obsessed. Now just have to wait for nic to arrive :)

    Hi Everybody,

Just signed up and dropping my first post in here :)

I've not started vaping yet but hope to soon, in fact, I've never even tried vaping! I've got some stuff on order from FastTech (iClear 30s, Vision Spinners and some Liqua juice) and can't wait for it all to arrive! Have been doing my research over the last week and reading up loads on the forum, still have a few stupid noob questions but just keen to have a go and see what all the fuss is about!

Anyway, some history for you.... been smoking for about 30 years now, currently going through a 200 carton/week with a fair few Old Holborn rollies thrown in for good measure... not really wanting to give up smoking but if my vaping experience takes off I'd be happy to switch to the healthier option. Haven't really tried to stop before so have no idea what I'm in for, vaping appears to come across as a fairly easy transition though so keeping my fingers crossed.

    Best Regards,
    Scotty....

Welcome to the forum Scotty, vaping is a great way to get off the stinkies, (smokes). Sometimes it happens even though we don't really want to :) Most people find it a pretty easy transition, once you get to grips with the hardware, and work out what juices you like to vape, and what nic level to start with.

Good luck with your switch, you wont regret giving away the stinkies, and your wallet will thank you, as well as your lungs :)

    Hi All

Just signed up this morning. Great site.

I've been smoking since about 17 and I'm now 49. So enough is enough... Time to try Vaping.
I came across a thread on another forum discussing e cigarettes and thought I really need to try this.

I've ordered some ready juice from a company based in canada. Excellent service so far but I'm looking at cheaper options as suggested on this site.

My work is in IT support/hardware and have always fooled around with electronic kits so I've ordered a "Ithaka Rebuildable Atomizer Clone" and a "EA Telescoping Mechanical Mod Clone".
I know about resistance, batteries and stuff be.comse I also rebuild batteries for laptops and older pro DSLRs on the side so I feel pretty confident that I can get this thing going. (35A 18650 batteries on their way)

So that's me. I'm looking forward to trying this out with a view to quitting the cigs for good.

Meanwhile.... There are some really sick mods shown in the threads here! I can see myself with a collection in the not to distant future :cupcake:

Also... What's with the Greeks and e cigs? They seem to have a big following.
Three brands I know of so fare. Golden Greek, Atmomixani and Gus Very Nice Gear!

welcome sc - the ithaka is not an easy one to build - maybe not a great one to start on - also you need "no res - res - no res" wire instead of regular kanthal - you may already know this but just thought id let you know in case - the ea clone is a ripper - i have one of those but prefer the nemesis clones and the astro

many of us started off rebuilding on dripping atomisers - have a look at the igo L on you tube - they are easier to get set up right when u are starting than say the ithaka

also the kayfun style rbas are very popular with vapers on this forum as well

anyway while im here - welcome also to all new members - and if u need any explanations regarding the many abbreviations used on this forum have a look at this thread we put together just for u

Just one question. (I just got some Vape mail :kiwi-fruit:)

I've got 10ml, (12 mg NIC) bottles of juice. How long would a 10ml bottle last? (estimate please)

    Thanks in advance.

3 ml a day is a good starting average - depending on how heavy a vaper you are and what device u are using - it all depends on ohms yer coil is and how many volts yer heating it up at.... i tend to do about 3 mls a day in a mech mod using a 1 to 1.3ohm coiled rda

ps - some people find 12mg not strong enough when they are starting - depends on how heavy u smoked

For me? A day, maybe, probably not. Others 3-5 days, some even longer. My partner with a stardust went through 1-1.5ml a day when she was vaping. It's a very hard question to answer as it depends basically on how much you vape and what you're using.

I'd suggest stocking up a bit if you know what juice you like, while you figure out what your typical usage is.

They are probably a little cheaper from China, but you have such a long wait for postage :) I tend to buy locally if I want something quickly, and the customer service is great at Vape King, as well as many other canuk Vendors. If you have a look at the vendor section on the Forum, you'll see heaps of vendors that are in.coms, and they will often have discount offers as well.

If you pop your location into your profile, you may find there are other members near you that can help you out with some face to face advice, or there may even be a B&M shop nearby. Its always good to be able to have a look at something, or even try it out before you buy :)

I had a look at their site and they don't have the Glass ones listed but they do have the Aspire BDC and the Aspire BDC Maxi nova and the Kanger ProTank 3 which one would you recommend to be the best upgrade from what I have, if you don't mind me asking?
