Hi all of you sweet smelling ashtray less people.

I was a smoker for 35 years and my wife was a smoker for approximately 28 years and the longest period of time that ether of us gave up for was 18 months.
Like most people we had many other attempts to give up but it never lasted. My wife had a bit of a medical scare late last year ( not smoking related ) and did a lot of thinking while she was laid up and decided life is to short and that we needed to give up this wallet robbing habit.

So the law was passed in our house that there would be no smoking after her birthday on the 16th January 2014 but due to the partying over the weekend we ended up as our official date being the 20th Jan.

With out going into to much detail I ordered a 510 kit with some nic juice on the Tuesday and on the Thursday we were vaping instead of thinking of ways to inflict pain on each other. :couple_inlove:

We have bought a few supplies now and have some more nic on order and like everyone else seems to do when they first start I am thinking about upgrades.

I would also like to thank all of the people here for all of the inspirational and informative posts that I have read over the last week here.

After I decided to stop smoking (smoking for 23 years) it has been a hard time nicobate different kind of sprays and I don't know what, the most annoying thing for me was that it would only come in one taste mint
but then i found this forum and then i started to read and read lol and a fair bit of lurking on many forums.
Now i have ordered a evic and nic juice from mt. baker so I am looking forward to start a new life without smoking and get of the nicotine all together.....

Hi Vapers. Guess what my name is Don :surprise::surprise:
I have some ecig with no nic and are just not working for me, still on the analogues :grumpy:. I have an Evod starter kit on order that.comst Post are keeping safe for me and they will deliver it when they are ready :chargrined:.
Just like to introduce myself before asking some noob questions, and a big thanks for all the information in the forums, it has helped me to make I think, some informed decisions on what direction to take, and what to buy and from where.

Strange thing is unlike the NRT stuff on the market, ecigs stopped me from smoking without me even wanting to quit. Once you get your juice from MBV and sort your strength out, you won't look back.

 

Welcome Don, you'll need the nic for the crossover, I too went without the nic for one or two days and it drove me crazy:uncomfortableness::uncomfortableness::uncomfortableness:. Just post or search other threads, if you need to ask a question just ask away and one of the guy's or girl's are bound to give you top advice:encouragement::encouragement::encouragement:

 

Hey everyone!
So I started vaping a month ago when I was in France. It's huge over there, loads of people happily vaping on the street, in bars, and even shopping centres. Seven stores within ten minutes walk of my house where I could sample flavours and 'vapote' with the friendly frog shopkeeper.
Needless to say, now I'm back in Perth I find myself all alone and no one to talk about vaping with. Thought I'd join for a chat and to find out more about the b.comtiful world of vaping.

Hi all - not really new but tried vaping a couple of years ago - circumstances changed - tobacco cigs were easier - but now i am back and determined to replace the tobacco with vaping.

Equipment seems to be a lot better now - was using ego batteries (which surprisingly all still work fine) and cartomizers - cartomisers make me cough now and I still have 200 of them (boge lr ) so have ordered a hole punch from vk and will try tanks.

Also tried an evod clearomizer and quite like it but a little too 'light' so have ordered a couple of Aspire mini dual coils to try.

Funds are limited (currently between jobs) so cant get too fancy but do have to stop spending $30 a day on cigs!

Any hints for second time round (or should I ask that in another thread?)

Anyway glad to be back - recognise a few of the 'oldies' names

 

I have been recommending what you have purchased, the aspire bdc. I have not used one myself, but on the strength of the user reviews they appear to be very good. I would really like to know what you think of them. Once they arrive can you please shoot me a quick pm to tell me if they get the thumbs up. I would hate to be giving out dodgy advice. Good luck in your second attempt!! In no time flat you can be spending the $210 a week from your cancer stick expenses in a much more beneficial way.
