Not really new but haven't been on here in a while thought I'd come say hi. Still rocking most of the same gear PAPS LUX, Ikarus, GUS and ZMAX. Good new is it's almost been a year since my last smoke and haven't looked back.

Hi All,

Just recently started vaping but not to help quit smoking although I do vape instead of social smoking so really killing 2 birds with one stone

Main reason Iam trying vaping is to help with dieting as Iam a chronic muncher when Iam at home so far its really helping as well as just enjoying vaping in general.

Currently using ego spinners and stardust v2's from the Vapebar Ultimate Starter Kit although I can see myself going for something bigger soon for a bigger vapor.

Anyways looking forward to chatting and learning more about vaping seems like a great bunch of People here

 

What kind of ejuice are you using? Also you should toss those stardust v2's in the trash and get a protank 2 mini or a regular one that comes with the a b.comty garment, basically its a support for the tank on a ego type battery. Also get a pack of 1.5 ohm coils. I usually grill the airholes to 1.5 x2. Once you try the protanks 2's, you won't go back.

Here's an example,
What is needed
- nicotine, I like 100Mg, this is around a 2.5yr supply for the average vaper Pure-Nic
- Then you need PG/VG, PG gives you a you can get it a good price locally at a good price
PG Propylene Glycol (PG)
VG Vegetable Glycerin (VG)
-Then you'll need some bottles, I would get 10 or so from 30ml Empty Dropper Bottle It will get you going, But look on ebay, you can get 50ml bottles from China way cheaper, less than half, but it takes 4-6 weeks. So buy locally to get started.
PG = Throat hit
VG = Vapor, like a fog machine
Next is mixing

say your a pack a day regular strength smoker, around 1.8mg of nic
to make that is simple when using 100mg nic, basically for every 10ml your trying to make you add 1.8ml of nic.
so If you buy a 30ml doubler, your end result should be 60 ml of ejuice.
so 1.8x6 (60ml/10=6)=10.8ml of nic
60ml-10.8=49.2ml
49.2ml-30ml doubler=19.2ml of PG/VG
so to make a 60ml from 30ml doubler you'll need 3-4 things
10.8ml of 100mg nic
19.2 PG/VG
30ml doubler

I usually just use VG, When I purchase a doubler I usually try to get them 50/50PG
So my end result for 60ml is 25%PG/75%VG
Hell I enjoy 100VG also

Hi I'm Vincent fairly new to vaping current setup is an evic with a kanger protank2 .. Looking forward to learning more and want to upgrade to a RBA fairly soon.

 

Currently using a Joyetech 50/50 red bull which came with the kits but just ordered some juice from Mt Baker 50/50 6mg which Iam hoping will be much nicer.

Will take a look at the protanks what would you say is better about them than the Stardust v2's they seem ok to me just a bit lacking in vapor but I dont really have anything to compare them too

 

Stardust the drip tips can come off and leak everywhere, the way the protank 2 is designed it can not leak, certain ejuices will melt the stardust like citrus or cola's. The protank is made of glass not plastic and metal.
You double your vapor by drilling the tiny airholes at the screw on base, remove the coil first in the protank 2.
The protank 2 is double the size of ejuice, the mini protank 2 is about the same size as the stardust.
1.5 ohm coils allow you to dial down the voltage and have the same amount as vapor as a high ohm coil at a high voltage, Basically it extends your times between charging, makes you batteries/charger last longer also.

Thought I best say hello, and big thankyou for everyones efforts in posts, its meant i haven't had to jump in with any novice questions

 

Hey guys! My names Tim. I tried vaping a few years ago, joined this forum in 2012. i started on a shitty cigalike from parklea markets and was intrigued by vaping from the get go
i smoked a pack a day of winfield blues and been smoking for about 7 years, i moved onto an ego-T be.comse i saw a streamer smoking one, his name was lethalfrag.. anyway i moved up to provari and had quit smoking tobacco for 1 year.
i was getting more into it and interested in co-ops for the chinese attys which are now available pretty much everywhere. my missus left and i started smoking again, its been one year of smoking and i decided it was time to vape again
im now 15days cigg free and smoking 18mg juice from china., which taste pretty bad but at least it keeps me off cigs
my return to vaping i got my first mech mod from Kylin Mech Mod Kit with Zip Case the kylin and wrapped my first coil which was 3.5ohms LOOL so i tried again and got a 1.1 on a iGoL and love it
i think building coils and dripping is my "eureka" moment with vaping so far. all i smoked was boge cartos with tanks before i got into the rebuildable scene. im super excited to participate in coops for mechmods and fancy things like the hammer to show off.
vaping has come a long way since my first cigalike and i'm excited to see where it goes

anyway i dont post a whole lot i am mainly a lurker but am very interested in participating in coops and the classifieds for shiny new toys
