    Hey everyone,
I'm a absolute ecig NOOB. Been smoking over 10 years, on and off and my partner has been smoking longer than that.
Sorry this is a bit longwinded but heres the background...
We usually smoke JPS menthol, superkings etc. Recent price hike and ongoing subconcious and general health reasons,
decided to have another go at breaking the habit. Must of quit nearly 50 times over the years only to reach for the crutch,
the problem of being married to a smoker is the temptation is always there...

As for my wife, she tried patches and was off the smokes for a few days but the stress of
the end of year run around she fell off the quit wagon. But, during last attempt she picked up a few disposable
ecigs from a tobacconist. We thought they had potiential to replace the hand part of it. They just missed the
key ingredient to keep the illusion going. So looked into getting one with the nico, but discovered that it couldnt
be bought from OZ. So I got the Easy Puff Starter kit from NZ. Tried it tonight, seems ok.
It has the key ingredient, so i think it can work. So we are going to have a crack with this kit.

If anyone has any suggestions on better, easier, cheaper kits for a bunch of noobs, please enlighten me.
Thanks for reading - Cheers :)

tell you what tho - lucky you were a menthol smoker - its pretty easy to find good menthol ejuice

    Welcome Devo!

Great that you have someone with you who's trying it out too, you can keep each other going and share stuff.

As far as gear goes check out Noe's List, it's a good shopping list for starting out :) If you are really impatient you could buy this stuff in canada, it will cost a bit more but will arrive quicker, but you'd still need to get Nic from overseas. And it's not really that long to get stuff from overseas, sometimes you can get an order from China to your doorstep in 3 working days.

Avtek the easypuffs are cig-alikes I think, prefilled. MUCH better gear available than those now Devo, and a buttload cheaper!

    Thanks everyone for the welcome,
This is the kit I have,
    Easypuff Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit

It was working better with Nico but to be honest it wasn't hitting the spot. We caved, down the shop for a pack of 40's :(

Thanks BD, I will check out Noe's List, and make sure We are better prepared for the next attempt.

Hey Devo and welcome, if you're after to get away from the stinkies and start your vaping journey this is the place. All the guy's and girls on here are excellent with information:encouragement::encouragement::encouragement:. Here's a few pics of what I used to start off with.

Both of these excellent, the grey one is from the first ego starter kit, and the blue one is an X6 battery with a ce4 clearomizer. Now the difference between the two is that the blue X6 is a variable voltage battery.

Next step of the journey was the Innokin itaste SVD I'm quite happy with this, and this is where I plan to stay for a while.
