Hey all,
I'm Addy and I started vaping about a month ago with a friend of mine from work. Unfortunately I still have about 5cigs a day (down from over 20). This is mainly be.comse I could not find a juice I like for ADV and I have issue with too much TH. I just don't find that I get enough nic from vaping. I'm currently on 12mg and 18mg is just too much TH. I got my girlfriend to start vaping as well and I think I will be quitting completely soon.
I found MBV peach and blackcurrant concentrate from Vapeking which I mix myself work now as ADV.
I've been on Vape.to for a month but was refraining from posting coz of reading all the bitchiness which seems to have stopped now
I've been using a spinner for the past month but have now I've got an SVD which is a huge step up and I'm currently having a beer and vaping without a need for a cigarette!

Hi Addy nice to have you around and posting , Glad you found a ADV , so your mixing already? Did you order nic or are you just adding to MBV.?

Hey Jeff, I've got nic from MBV (65/35) and from healthcabin (100% VG) so I can finish test different ratios plus I got unflavoured PG and VG from MBV. I thought it's PG .comsing me sore throat but after trying 30/70 18mg i know it's the nicotine. Mixing is heaps of fun though I hope the real estate agent at the next inspection does not look into my cupboard
Just a tip for anyone trying to quit, vape as much as possible, this will help with cravings

Short time reader, now first time poster, so "pop", as they say.

Almost thirty years on the cancer sticks. Time for a change. I hope to contribute to the forum but it's more likely I will spend more time listening to wiser and more experienced folks than I will spend talking.

I have tried quitting analogues a few times over the years, but somehow, I keep going back to 'em. I hope that the decision to vape might be the most useful exit strategy.

Likewise, I apologise to local vendors be.comse I ordered my first PV and juice from offshore. It was just a matter of price. Doubtless, as I progress to zero nic I'll buy in.com to support the growing local merchants and artisans.

Welcome to the forum, and don't worry about buying from overseas, we all do it, and we also buy locally.
For me it depends on price, like if its 50% cheaper overseas like some items are, I'll purchase it overseas, Like today I purchased some plastic 50ml bottles on ebay, they are in China, the total cost including shipping for 10 bottles was under $4. Hell shipping alone in oz would cost a min $8

Hi all, As you can probably tell my name is Donna and I'm from sunny Melbourne. I saw Margy's comment on The Project's FB page after their show on vaping and got in touch with her to ask for help. She put me in touch with this group which I was very grateful for. Tomorrow will be four weeks since I had my last fag. I am 47 years old and have been smoking since I was 14. I was smoking more than a pack of 30 every day. I both loved and hated smoking. Basically I've discovered I'm a Nicotine addict not a bad person. My brain loves nicotine and I'm happy to supply it via vaping. I am so happy.....words cannot describe how much better I feel physically and mentally. In the last four weeks I've had some challenges with dud hardware but knew that it was worth persisting particularly after reading all the pearly words of wisdom provided by members. Thanks!

New vaper from outback NSW. been lurking the last week or so and decided to say hi.
day 12 without an analog (down from 30 a day)
using a vision twister with a mini protank, DYI juice.
Ordered an MVP last week - cant wait till it gets here!

You'll love the MVP its a great solid mod, What ohms are you using with the mini protank? When I use the twist, only 1.5ohm for my mini, The de.comlt ones that came in the package were crap, Lasted me less than a day, So I tossed both coils and opened a new pack of 5x 1.5ohm protank coils.
What kind of DYI are you brewing? Did you get nic from overseas?, For someone vaping only 12 days you know your stuff.

I am also using a 5 pack of the 1.5ohm at the moment , my twist sits around 4volts. will be interesting to see how it hits with the MVP.
I have a good mate who has started a Vape bussiness locally (about to open a shop and online presence) we have been "experimenting" lol.
he has a good stock of flavours and pg/vg , im still trying to find an all day Vape. my current favorite is a mix of 70/30 pg/vg with port wine and pipe tobacco extract.
The flavour combinations are endless! i have also just placed and order with vaperite to try some of the more popular juices to compare.

I have had my vape gears for a couple of months now, only got serious about given up the analogs 12 days ago though!
After looking around on here i realise i have so much to learn though!

 

I usually have my MVP around 4.2 volts with 1.5 ohm coils, the MVP hits harder due to higher amps than the twist. 1.5 ohms are great so you can keep the volts down and prolong battery recharge, A MVP will last a full day of heavy vaping so its a very good mod. Your port wine and tobacco extract sounds like a vape I wouldn't mind, Let me know when your friends site comes online and I'll order some port wine/tobacco extract mix , I prefer 30PG/70VG
