Hi all,

thought I would introduce myself.

Been smoking for 18 years (seems like a really long time when I write it down) and best I have ever done while trying to quit is 6 months before I got sucked back in. My biggest problem when quitting is when I drink beer and seeing as I make homebrew and have kegs on tap there is beer around all the time. So I thought this might be the answer.

Bought an Itaste VV V3 off fasttech and some nic juices from them and MBV as well and now haven't had a cig for 7 days! Even went to the pub on Sunday and had some beers and vaped happily away with everyone else smoking and didn't really feel like a smoke at all, with out the vaping I would have folded after my first sip of beer.

I am a sucker for a new hobby and this is reeling me in fast, my list of things to try and buy is growing rather fast!

I too am a homebrewer and had the urge to smoke on saturday night after having a few too many of my own pale ale.
Thankfully a friend had their ego on hand for me to get past the craving.

Hi... joined last week and enjoy the atmosphere on this site .. so friendly ... haven't tried vaping yet but would intend buying a starter kit this weekend.. always been a heavy smoker .. tried all the usual quit methods and none worked .. next step was gonna be $500 hypnotherapy session ( yes, I'm desperate to stop ) but seeing as I never inhale anyway thought I'd try vaping as it will solve the throat hit and 'restless hands' thing... if there's somewhere I can buy it in Adelaide it'd be great o'wise will have to order online.. anyway . lots of info to take in so one step at a time ... cya round!:single_eye:

I switched to vaping about a year ago and about at the same time I started making handmade leather cases.
I'm still waiting for some kind of approval from the moderators, so no links or pictures for now.

Know what you mean Wolfman, I'm a home brewer too ....... but spirits. I find that a vape is the ideal accompaniment to a good whiskey or bourbie. Would even settle for a Schloffhofer ! And a bit of hardware to experiment with rounds everything off. Lol.

New bloke on deck.

Been vaping for about 4 months.

Left the RAN about 8 months ago, had enough of looking at waves over the last 20 years so I've moved out to the hills and trees east of Tenterfield and gone bush, Still getting my head around being on civy street.

You will love this new lifestyle and (eventual) hobby. Not only will it get you off the analogues (if you are on them) but it also provides "things" to muck around with and try out.

Thanks mate, already tinkerin like a bored ships machinist, been off the nasties for about 3 months now, give or take. (now if you'll excuse me I need to go kick the snot out of the local postie .comse my kit aint here yet and it shows as delivered...)

 

Happens to me all the time Pussa. Check the Post Office box and nothing there ...... get home, flick on the computer and up comes a message saying a parcel is waiting for me, then back down to the Post Office we go ........ grrrrrr.

New to Vaping and the forums, but thought I'd poke my head in here anyway, seeing as it's the place to do so!
Names Keiran, K-J if you want, I'm almost 27, live down in the Northern burb's of Melbourne with the better half, and fancy myself an app and game developer when I'm not in Hospital (Unrelated to smoking)
Nearing a week clean off the sticks of death and doom, after 18 years smoking 16mg PJ's and a lifetime of passive (from fetus up!) and haven't even been tempted to go back to them! Who would with a flavour like that, and the vapour production is terrible, not to mention the throat hit just SUCKS
Been watching reviews on various things on youtube, so been picking it up as I go along, trial and error. Any nooby pratfalls and mistakes you pro's could impart on me would be appreciated greatly! (Or good places on the forum to start) I'm the generation of the game console and the techy gizmos, so I almost went spend crazy at all the neat too dads and doo hickeys! But decided on a Vision Spinner VV and Blue Kanger TS3 in the end.

OH! Also, a big shout out and much love to everyone at JuiceWhore, and Del especially (Who was very patient with my constant support messages asking for help, or to correct some silly mistake I'd made on the site), for making the transition to Vaping seamless, fast, and DELICIOUS!
