After smoking on & off for fifty years, I am free from my cigarette addiction !!
E-cigs have been a wonderful transition to becoming smoke free. Started three
months ago with Ego-C and Stardust clearomiser and have just advanced to
using a variable battery and Kanger protank. Still chasing my all day vape, but
I am loving the search. I should have posted here first, I think !!

Me being the nonsmoker i have taken up vaping (non-nic), and this has given back the pleasure of having a "pipe".

Ro back again. Thank you for the warm welcome everyone. Yep the old dog (pensioner) remembers the good times. Even got my cigar smoking neighbour vaping.

Hi all, Pacboy here, never really ever used forums before other than just reading them but just feel that this vaping thing is just too exciting to not itry to interact more, so please forgive any forum errors i might make and just let me know.
I started vaping about maybe 2 months ago, when a work collegue let me try his clone ego. The first day was me just telling him how stupid it looked, till he let me try it and man did i feel dumb. I was speechless.He sold me his clone for $50 and it broke in 3 days,
I was still hooked though and saw the potential it would have.
i then ordered a ego twist , then a evic, then a provari. I was now completely sold. this journey of course was not complete with mistakes along the way.I had spent too much on ejuices that were either just not to my tastebus or morso i think would be just considered crap. I also wasted money on crap clearomizers as well as just spending too much money that i found out later could have been purchased a lot cheaper.

Anyway all part of the journey. I have now ordered a few clone mechs and rba to test the waters, so can bung them up or lose screws or whatnot without pulling my hairout for wasting money on something that i might not have the patience and time for.
Still waiting on my smoketech rsst,so hopefully made a good 1st choice.

i first started vaping about 4 years ago with Cigalikes, i was right into it but there wasnt much choice for other devices without modding ones yourself and i got sick of having to carry 3 batterys to work with me for the day.


lately i brought a Ego twist, iclear30 and some JuiceWhore juice and have been vaping at home instead of going outside for a cigarette. I have noticed since its a 12mg Nic mix that I don't even crave a cigarette and i'd actually prefer just vaping instead of going outside haha.
once my iTaste MVP 2 and my order from Alice in Vapeland comes i'm going to turn to full time vaping

Hey pacboy, me same same!!!! I have never in my life been on forums except to grab a bit of information. But I tell you what, vaping has got me all 'BIG KEV'. Its so bloody exciting. I am totally obsessed!!!!! Such a life changing experience. I thought it was funny that you were so dubious, until you 'saw the light' and it blinded you!!! Just imagine how easy the transition would have been if you could just get all of your supplies at the tobacconist. The conspiracy(worldwide)against us is so wildly transparent that I am flabbergasted that BT and the puppet government aren't called out on their BS. That monkey Chimpman gets away with telling people vaping hasn't been proven safe!!! Cigarettes KILL, this is beyond doubt, yet this awesome alternative is being molested at every opportunity!!! G'day all

Been interested for a while in vaping, haven't been smoking long enough to get properly addicted, but I'm still getting the patterns (usually smoke about 1 1/2 packs over Friday night to Saturday). Pretty savvy with electronics, just learning the language really. Considering buying a cheap eGo-K system from DX, all I'll lose is $25 at worst, and with my budget, that's about all I want to lose haha.

Other than that, just up in Central Vic, so there's no local stores, heck, there only chain tobacconists in Bendigo

 

Welcome Zeus, check on the last page of this thread for my posted list of newbie items, the gear I recommend in that post has helped many new members here with their first purchase.
It's a bit cheaper than DX too but there is a shipping cost to add to it, so it works out around the same I guess, have a look anyway & make your own mind up

 

Cheers, I've sorta settled on the following, and I'll grab some nicotine solution from Health Cabin, if I can source higher conc. then I'll be quite happy, dilutions are sorta my trade, amongst other things. I'll see how I like the standard 18mg/l first though. I'm gonna hold off for a little while, should something turn up in the trading forum (and if you fellas will sell to a 2 post newbie haha).

Heck, I'm not opposed to building from the start, pretty sure I had a PWM circuit laying around somewhere which worked well on 6 volts, just run a current transformer on the CRO and mark out the rough amperage on the case
