First of all I'd like to say that I very much like you vigor for a discussion!

Second, the V2cig situation. I introduced myself to vaping through curiosity. Curiosity starts with Google. Google results get checked with YouTube reviews. There's no bad ones. V2cigs look pretty close to what I'm used to doing. They come ready to go with pre-filled carts you just screw on with whatever nic hit I need in a variety of flavors I've never even dreamt I could 'smoke'. They 'will' cost less than my tobacco habit. They have a base in canada that can send me stuff the next day. Hell, after everything else I've tried that sounds pretty good to me! doesn't it? cash down.

Two days later my curiosity is realized yet has only just begun..

What I'm getting off you is canadan Vendor and eGo so I'll address these separately.

eGo - I have both exposed and been asked about the V2 by a few people up until now. Only 1 in 5 would 'dare' even have a toke on it. If I took the Vamo to work people would secretly point at me and mutter to each other 'there! there goes the FREAK!' but don't worry, I'm going to trump that when I take the iTaste 134 in and turn that sh!t up to SUPERFREAK! .comse that's how the PrAwN gets down -solo ;) but seriously -vaping- is still in the wtf category for most people that I interact with. I didn't even consider an eGo be.comse I have to do this and that and even though I'm into gadgets I wasn't prepared with all the fuss. Whilst vaping on my supply of V2's I skipped over the eGo and went for the Vamo followed by the 134 be.comse I'm into gadgets AND vaping now. So, to me, it's harder to sell an eGo to a beginner. I wont be buying an eGo until my V2 batteries are dead however neither will I be buying more pre filled carts for them.

canadan Vendors - There are too numerous companies to mention that are not canadan owned that all compete in the same marketplace. Everyone shops there in real life every day. They aren't owned by canadans but they employ canadans. When it comes to shopping on the internet its about price, then location is the compromise with delivery time. I cant go to my local shopping center and get my vaping supplies at this time. I chose V2 be.comse they were easy to use and had an canadan outlet with excellent service! I chose Mt Baker be.comse I need DIY nic, good reviews, hardware is hardware, a sale is a sale, juice is yum, service is excellent! I chose Juice Whore be.comse they are canuk and the name got me, I got all my DIY stuff and Vamo plus some international vendor RTV flavours for when I opened the box, arrived in a timely manner and still the biggest single order I've made to date. I was recently looking for some glass globe attachments for dry herb vaping and some chinese site had them on 30% sale so I got 5 of them, 10 CE4's, 4 18650's and 3 hanseng flavours to sample and bulk up the order. Bookmarked for future reference plus it also looks good for when they take over the world later. Soo.. that's how my internet shopping works anyway.

I appreciate your welcome and input. I'm certain that had it been you who introduced me to vaping you could convince me to go with the eGo and explain to me why I should.

I needed you man.. where were you?

I'm here now, learning, I've chosen my hardware, I've got a good range of flavours from a good range of vendors to try and to tinker with. Its just a battle between my wallet and my patience from here on in! Maybe some day in the future, on a fishing trip perhaps, we'll look back on this and .comgh heartedly :)

I get that you did your own research & that you went with what you thought was the best option at the time.

So you have the Vamo now & you realise it is a much better, more satisfying vape than you get from a V2cig. An eGo while not looking like an analog, will give you a vape very close to what you get from the Vamo, it's not a huge mod but it's not cigarette sized either, it's more cigar sized.
The reasons I say it is the better starting point is be.comse it gives that satisfaction that cigalikes don't, they have much better run times & they have longer life cycles(eg before you replace them).
A lot of new vapers think they want a cigalike when they start & quickly discover they don't satisfy them enough, then move on to a big batt mod (like you did ) or onto eGo set ups. You can skip the cigalike step & get the eGo to start with & vape happily with it for the rest of your vaping journey if you want to, be.comse they give that satisfaction from the vape.

It's great that you didn't simply give up when you found the cigalike not quite doing it for you, then found Vape.to & told us your story.
What I don't understand though is why you would want to have your smoking mates, converting to vaping, go through the same hoops you jumped through, when you know there is better & cheaper gear out there that is just as good. Even if they "must" have a cigalike, you know there are cheaper available, that are just as good quality.

'not quite doing it for you'? My good Sir, with all due respect, do not put words in my mouth. I will reiterate - I quit smoking analogs with V2cigs. They are a quality product and the customer service is outstanding. I 'still' take them to work and they will die at work. My hardware is for home use.

These hoops you talk about, I went online and ordered a product which I then received. That's the same hoop everyone jumps through during the shopping ritual.

To bag ' the worlds most popular ecig' without ever having tried them takes some balls my friend. Maybe To the point where there is no convincing you otherwise of anything. I've had nothing but a totally positive experience using V2cigs.

At the end of the day I successfully and easily gave up analogs by using V2cigs. I will tell everyone I meet that and I will recommend them to anyone looking to quit smoking. I will disclose all available options to them and let them choose what they think it's good for them.

Money isn't everything all the time

Hi all, Name's Tim and i've been vaping for a bit over a month.

I've been buying most of my gear from vapebar in Perth be.comse I can go and pick it up from Burswood. You can see my reviews there under the nick Kempy. (They're great reviews btw)

I like a nice strong throat hit and if anyone has some suggestions (wicked mint from vape bar in a protank 2 with a new coil is the best so far) I would appreciate you telling me about it.

Look forward to being even more awesome here.

G'day to all you new Vapers,
Welcome to a whole new world !!
I will give you one month and you will not even consider having or going back to an analogue. You will soon learn that vaping is a lot more fun that smoking. So much to experiment with and flavours to be savoured !
I'm a newbie too, but if you listen to what the more experienced members have to give, take the advice of Noe's "information for new members" post. I can guarentee that you won't look back or go back. This vaping business is a great way of quitting. And I've tried everything except the champix.
By the way ...... after a month off the analogues, if you were to have one ....... well ....... you will turn green. You will feel so sick from that first or second drag that it is not funny. I have warned you.
Been there done that in the past, so I speak from experience.
    Cheers
    Sodd

Gday guys My names Michael, call me Mick! I live in TAS ah! only one head though!, you can still see the scar!. Ive been waiting on vaping crap to arrive from SLOWTECH, perhaps after 5 weeks i'll get lucky. Slowtech have the best range and prices but the SLOW BOAT FROM CHINA must be sailing around the world the wrong way or just missed canada perhaps. Sorry i wont grief about slow deliveries too much, instead ill ask you guys the names of the best canuk vendors in your opinion. Im realy looking for a range of products to choose from, i hate being forced to only buy the brand a company stocks. I'm also looking for variety; i'm a DIYer so i need all the gear including flavor concentrates, wire, wicks, bottles, PG,VG etc, so far its Vaping Cobra FTW and i find their service ok, just not a huge range of hardware, not bad for.comS though.

Welcome to Vape.to, if you are really from Tassie how many Pixies do you have as pets?

Try VapeKing.com for a better range of hardware.
Unfortunately no one has as much junk as slowtech & I always advise new vapers to never make their 1st order with them be.comse of, as you found out, the shipping times. HealthCabin.com is a faster shipper from China, using the EMS shipping option you normally get your gear in about a week & they have decent prices & a good range.
