It was difficult to decide whether to vape any of the tobacco flavours or not. I theorise that by vaping a tobacco flavour I might be less inclined to crave an analog. I could be completely wrong though. Only time will tell.

You might find your tastes will change as your taste buds get working properly, I was told this by an experienced vaper that gave me a whole lot of great advice, and he was right. I found that when I decided to mix up some doublers, I just chose what I thought I would like, and a few random flavours to try, I bought small amounts so I could afford to try a lot of different ones. I figure that any I really don't like, someone else that vapes will, so I can just give them away. My partner has started vaping, and his tastes are so different from mine, so what I hate, he likes, it works out well.

There are quite a few vapers on this forum from Brisbane, so you could probably get some good advice if you go to a vape meet, or meet a few local vapers, people are pretty friendly and helpful here : ) Noe, (a long time member here), has some great tips for newbies, and also some good info on good tobacco flavours, I'm sure he could help steer you in the right direction.

I think the vape meets are organised on the vaping discussion forum here, or you could post a thread in the newbies section asking when the next Brisbane vape meet is, and where it will be held. Somebody is bound to know : )

Grrrr I just read that it isn't advisable to use a dual coil cartomizer on an eGo-C as dual coil cartomizers call for a higher voltage to function most effectively. I wish I hadn't ordered five of them now.

Hey Pavlov, welcome to the club lol been there got an ever growing drawer full of vaping gear that i dont think ill use...but then again as my vaping journey goes on (only 6 weeks sofar) my tastes and vaping style seem to be evolving aswell so who knows and those useless items might get used down the track, but agreed its annoying when youve made a bad purchase.
Btw i wouldnt mind getting to the Brissy Vape meet if and when they have one....unless there is one closer to the NSW/QLD border that might be my best bet

Glad I found this place! I've only just registered but already this site has been a fountain of knowledge.

I'm trying to get off the ciggies and have just ordered a 510-T starter kit. I got some nic juice already, just waiting for the vape to arrive now.

I really hope this works for me too.

We are a big family here. Lots of information and advice can be given. Please ignore the occasional disagreements and bickering on some threads

 

Fantastic forum with great info. Only started vaping a few days ago, been a smoker for almost 20 years. Have gone the upgrade route in just a few days from all the good info on here. Cigalike to Ego-C Twist (just arrived today) and have an iTaste MVP on it's way tomorrow!

First thing i must say is Vape community has already shown crazy support. Got ego-c twist today was keen to give it a whirl and only had the sample nic-free juice - was really needing the nic (nic juices are on its way tomorrow). Went downstairs saw a guy vaping (never noticed vapers until a couple of days ago), asked if he had nic juice and if he could spare some. He ended up giving me a full 30ml bottle of nic juice!!! Was so grateful, he wouldn't take any money etc. That's like someone asking for a cig and giving you a carton.

Very pleased with my vaping experience so far, and looking forward to learning more from this forum and trying lots of taste juices.

 

Hi guys, brand new to this. Stopped smoking on Friday 13th, spent 4 days being totally manic until my eGo T Starter Kit arrived. A mate gave me a bottle of DK4 plus the kit came with a 10ml bottle of no-nic juice. My wife prefers the no-nic juice, I've been using the DK4 and I'm loving it.....haven't been manic since yesterday morning. I had a long chat tonight with a mate who's been vaping for a few months and he filled me in on mixing and set me up with the stuff I'll need to DIY. He's also posting me down a couple of bottles of his favourite mixes. I actually think I'm finally going to be able to kick my 2 x 50g packs of Port Royal a week.....been doing that for 35 years. All I have to do now is work out how to do a Rum and Wine juice......lol.

 

Don't worry, you'll end up with a variable voltage/wattage eventually, also I've not heard that before so thanks coz I learnt something today, lol.

I specialize in tinctures and make bitters, flavoured vodkas, liqueurs and single malt whiskeys. I am hoping to take the knowledge I have to make some unique ejuice for myself and my wife. I have a feeling your going to be very popular here, not only due to the fact that so many enjoy a vape with a nice bevvy but they like to match them as well as possible. Kind of like which wine goes with this fish kind of thing, lol. I think I need to catch some z's.
