Thanks for the offer Noe, I may just take you up on that in the future. It would be nice to meet up with some local vapers and pick your brains at some stage.

And thanks for the other warm welcomes!

Hi, my real name is Chris and I swapped completely from cigarettes to vaping on the 15th March, about 6 weeks ago.

I bought a little cigalike.comto battery and a charger for about $25, as well as some high nicotine juice. It lasted two days. while I was waiting for the egotype kit to arrive I did have one cigarette. It tasted awful.

I had the starter kit less than two weeks before I ordered some Ego-C twist batteries. I managed to hold off until about week four before ordering the VAMO V2.

The Egotype constant voltage kit is back in it's box along with the charger and a third battery I got as a spare and never even opened. It's looking for a new home if anyone wants it real cheap (or it will be my backup, in case of total catastrophy). It worked well but I'll never go back from VV/VW.

Similarly my progression through vaporisors went cartridge -> CE3 -> CE5 -> Vivi Nova and Vivi mini and a Phoenix atty. Got a DCT on the way.

DIY juices also kept me distracted during my worst moments between the end of week three and the start of last week. Damn those dirty cigarettes!

    Hi folks

I was a smoker for 16 years. I tried ecigs about 8 months ago with a Joyetech 510-T. I wasn't getting enough nic with my vaping, and continued to smoke until I picked up an ego-c with clearomizer on the 8th of April (20days, 2 hours, 3 minutes ago.... but whose counting).
I didn't plan on giving up, and just wanted to try out this new device. Since that night I haven't even felt like having an analogue ciggy. As I have been really happy with my progress, I decided to reward myself and jump over to an eVic, and loving that it even more.

Anyways, I come here often to look for information, which I have found easily, and just wanted to thank you all.

    Regards
    Tim

A huge welcome to the recent newcomers - can't say newbies, as some of you have been at this longer than I have.
Vape.to is a fantastic forum. Feel free to jump in with questions, feedback, advice, or anything on your mind.
I've found the more involved you are in Vape.to, the more you get out of it. :)

oh I don't think you should leave such an open invitation like that to someone who has such a warped sense of humour as I

Great to hear. I rep for a reptile wholesaler, and work all over SA. Its amazing how many people want to know more about e-cigs. They are either looking to give up smoking or save money, and vaping is a great option for them. I think Peter from Ecig-SA is going to pickup a bit of business.

Hi guys. Not new to vaping, but new on this forum. My two year vape anniversary is tomorrow, which I'm absolutely stoked about.

Currently running a Zmax v2 with a DUD, Vamo with a Liquinator and Lavatube with a ATA Hydra.

I'm located in Melbourne. I've only run into one other vaper in two years... where are you guys??

Hi all, Michael from Melbourne here. I haven't tried this thing you call vaping. I'm about to buy an e-cig as I want to give up tobacco.

One of your helpful forumers has already recommended the eGo C for a beginner such as myself.

Just need to work out where I'm going to get it and how many refill thingies to buy/how long they'll last etc

Fingers crossed within a few weeks I'll have my tastebuds back ;)

    you can buy reptiles wholesale?

    Hey new peoples, welcome.

Melbournite: if you can splurge the extra for an ego-twist I think everyone would highly recommend it! I think there is a B&M in Melbourne and they should be able to sort you out, otherwise there is a list of vendors on this forum that can help.

As for the refill thingies, don't buy too many of the same sort. There are zilliions of different ones and you dont want to be stuck with 5 of something and then realise you prefer something else.

A good and cheap starter kit would include
    1 x ego twist
    1 x vision stardust
    1 x boge f17 carto tank
    1 x usb charger

and you will be all set... to begin with ;)

    Cheers darkhorsefkn.

So buy the ego-twist local, then order refill thingies that fit it from an overseas place.

I really appreciate that list, you have no idea how confused I got today just trying to work it all out.
