It's an eGo -T battery with a "stardust" clearomizer.
The eGo -T atties do not come with it.
There are eGo -T batteries & eGo-C batteries, which are basically the same thing, then there are eGo-T atties/tank system & eGo-C atties/tank system that go on top of the batteries, I don't like either of those tank systems.
Stardusts are by far a more easy to set up system, which replaces those atties & more newb friendly IMO.

Interesting, I noticed that both "juice whore" and "Steam-E-Cigs" offer starter packs with a combination like you have suggested.

Ok, I went with the eGo C with Clearomizer starter pack from Vapebar.
It's ordered. I wait with anticipation.

    This one?
    Ultimate eCigarette Starter Kit

It's not a bad kit but is over double the price of the cheaper VC kit I linked to & really only has 3 extra stardust clearos in it, which is about $15 value.
Plus it has a 650mah battery & a 1000mah battery compared the the VC's 1100mah 2 x batteries and you get 1 bottle of 0mg/ml Joyetech juice, another $5 value added.
You could have saved yourself some $ for what you need next.

Anyway, now you will need to order nicotine from overseas, either premixed 18mg/ml flavored juice or you can get 36mg/ml(to make it easy for using doublers) unflavored nic & buy some doublers from canuk vendors to mix with the 36mg/ml 50/50. Vaping 0mg/ml juice will still leave you craving nicotine & make the transition harder, 18mg/ml is a good place for most vapers to start vaping at.
I suggest using a 80/20 or 70/30 or 75/25 PG/VG ratio, to start with, in your juice, you may want to change that later but these ratios will give you a good balance of TH, flavor & clouds.

For fast delivery of your nic HC is a good bet, a 75/25 PG/VG mix, 36mg/ml unflavored 115ml bottle will last around 6 weeks, when mixed 50/50 with doublers:
    115ml HC Unflavored E-liquid [Z8 HC Unflavored 115ml] - $11.99 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail
Or you can grab some premixed juice, to make it easier, just fill & vape I would get 10x 10ml of these in various flavors to see what you like:
HC E-Juice/E-Liquid : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

I got some 18ml stuff from Mt Barker just to keep me going. Will be a bit more adventurous once I get my head around it all. Thanks for all your input though buddy. Your advice has been really helpful and condensed a mountain of info into "get this, now get this, get it from here". Couldn't have been more helpful if you tried. :) thanks.

So with the doubler thing you speak of I'd just get the Nic e juice you linked to then get a doubler flavour (say a 10 ml bottle). And add 10ml of the Nic and get 20ml of flavoured e juice yeah?

If that's so I really like the idea of it. Rather than buying a huge amount of premix in one flavour I can get what ever I want.

Yep but I'd get a 30ml doubler to save postage costs & make the doubler a little cheaper than buying 3x 10ml.
However since you are starting out & are probably unsure of what you really like just yet, then 3x10ml or even 6x 10ml in various flavored doublers is probably a good option.
Try to get the doublers in around the same 75/25 PG/VG range 80/20 or 70/30 is fine too.

Eventually you might even want to look at using concentrated flavors, which are generally used at around 10% of the juice volume ( some as low as 2% some as high as 30%) then you will also need plain PG &/or plain VG to mix with.
Using the 36mg/ml unflavored nic you'd use 50% nic, 10% concentrate( for argument sake) & 40% PG &/or VG combined to make an 18mg/ml juice. The advantage of DiY with concentrates is you get to tailor the flavor to your own taste much closer & it costs a lot less to mix juice DiY style. Also when you make a new DiY flavor, it's a bit like having a new baby, you feel proud of what you have done & no one knows your own taste preferences like you do ;)

    Thanks for all the help.

I'm really interested in widening my palette eventually. The Kentucky Premium blends sound very nice.

cheers for the warm welcome everyone and your advice so far has been tops :)

Once your nic turns up it should be a lot easier Sparkly, it does make a huge difference, just takes a few days to get used to the nicotine satisfaction in a slightly different way.
