Hi everyone!

I've been lurking around for a while, but I figured it was about time I started posting. Very new to vaping, got my Ego-C starter kit about 8 days ago, and haven't touched a cigarette since. Been a smoker for about 5 years (took it up when I was 19, definitely should have known better). In the short time I've been vaping I've managed to convince 5 people to buy e-cig starter kits. I kind of sound like I've joined a cult! Really enjoying it though, and the health benefits that have come along with it too. No more stinky morning breath for me!

I am, however feeling completely overwhelmed by my options. I still feel really clueless about everything, so please be gentle!

 

Hi Blacksheep, just stick with getting to know the ego stuff for now, it will help your brain in the long run I think it might be a cult, we even have a uniform, get your velvet vest, bumless jeans and orange beret ready!

I'm in SA and only just discovered this wonderful world of Vaping. Sweeet!
I'm so amazed at how large this community is world wide and how I have not heard of this without trolling through the interweb. Kinda sad really.
anyhoo, I have been vaping for 9 days now since smoking my last ciggie and I know I will NEVER look back as I have not had any want to even have a drag on those awful things since discovering the world of vaping.

I'm currently rocking an Ego-twist 650mah with a mini vivi nova clearo and the vape production is better than the smoke produced by analogues!

this is an awesome forum which has and is helping me a lot with better understanding this new world and I thank everyone on this marvellous forum for that.

Hi all, hopeless cigarette addict here willing to try anything to get off the smokes. I'm a health professional as well so should really know better. I tried an e-cigarette today and was sold. Will be off to buy one when I'm paid next week although my logic is more than a little fuzzy with this as I will spend more than the set up cost on cigarettes before then
I've had several attempts at giving up and respond well to NRT however not a day goes buy when I don't miss smoking, so much so that last year after 8 months I caved in and started. most recently I gave up for 12 horrific days during which I contemplated leaving my relationship of 12 years, running away, quitting my job and generally being an irrational mess. Needless to say I'm not nice to be around when not smoking.
This will hopefully be what i have been looking for. I need nicotine in my life but don't need toxic cigarettes. I really hope my lungs start feeling better too. When I quit before I got up off the couch and started running. I got up to 12km before starting again. I'm back down to 5km again now and would really like to start running properly again as it's good for my head.

welcome minigmgoit..keep you're head up and keep on vaping. I found that I almost had to chain vape for a little while before my awful addiction has now been replaced with a vaping system. Taste, smell and breathing is becoming soo much clearer...if only I had the motivation to go running like yourself...I totally respect that.

My other half got onto vaping and I started to get interested although at the moment I only vape every few days when the cravings for analogues gets strong. My long term aim is to be a more consistent vaper, especially as I hate the smell of analogues and hate going near my 2 young kids stinking.

I'm based 75km out of Adealide.
