Hi all, finally decided to get off the analogs and switch to vaping So far it's only been 3 weeks but feel like this could be what finally gets me off them for good. I'm not thinking this is going to be an easy process but I think it's been a lot easier than patches, gum ect. The problem is I liked smoking but I don't want to deal with potential heath problems in the future. So I came across vaping the healthy alternative and thought this seems like I should try it and I'm so glad I did.

My gear so far is an eVic, Vapeonly BCC 3.5ml, Vivi Nova 3ml, DCT 6ml, 500ml/100mg nic some PG and VG and a variety of doublers for mixing.

Newbie to your forum but newbie to vaping too.
I actually quit the cigs about 5 years ago.
After battling (and losing) with patches I went to my doctor and was prescribed Champix.
They worked and I managed to kick it for 4 years.
About a year ago I went out and played pool down at the local with a mate... had skinfull and even won more pool than I lost.
On the way home we spotted a caltex and ducked in a grabbed a packet.
I would be fine I thought... yeah right!
So anyway the past 12 months I have been riding the on again off again yo-yo and even jumped back on to the Champix.
Problem this time though is that I wanted to smoke... whereas last time I wanted to give up.
So anyway thanks to my brother I tried out vaping and man I just knew this would be exactly what I was looking for.
I could satisy all my needs without the "oh my God I cant believe I am back on them... i am gonna get the big C this time for sure..."
So I found the health cabin and bought myself the DSE601C E-Pipe and 7x30mls Vanilla Dekang juice (ok ok... I have a vanilla addiction too... now all my secrets are out!)
So my parcel arrived and I have been in vaping heaven for 11 days.
I live in South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, 40 years old, married with 3 kids.... thats me!

Similar story to most here. Quit smoking 4 weeks ago exactly and have been vaping since. Loving the money saved but unfortunately(?) spending more than smokes on the good vaping gear. Have smoked for 25 years and never went more than 12 hours (forced ie: inflight etc..) without one. Found this forum to be most informative and relevant to my .comse. I really don't usually post on forums but you guys have compelled me to do so. Feels like voluntarily going to an AA meeting and introducing myself. Anyway long story short, I live on the southside of Brisbane and would like to make friends with more vapers locally.

Hi,

Been vaping for a couple of weeks now, was a social smoker until someone at work put me onto ecigs.
Quite happy to give up the smell and after taste the next morning from tobacco to still get the 'occasional' nicotine hit.

Only problem being without the smell and after taste its becoming a bit more of a habit

Started on a basic ego kit from HC with a some red cola 11mg before someone pointed me here, not sure if I should thank them or curse them as I'm a gadget collector and all the nice shiny gear has already made me buy a Sigelei SS ZMAX after watch a PBusardo review on it.

Also ordered some 36mg nic from the states and some doublers from Vape King and now just have to try to be patient until they arrive.
