I don't know what set up your using but it's taken me 3 months to work up the nerve to buy an RBA, I'm a stubborn bastard so I recon I've got the sheer bloody mindless stupidity to get it so dropping the cash on a high end RBA will be a reward, I've got an AGA T RBA coming first, by the time the Cobra gets here I should be able to do it justice. The brass drip tip is just becomse it looks cool, take your time and use the Internet and google the crap out of stuff mate, all I wanted was a brass coloured RBA, lol, after tonight spending I'm down $200.00, but that would have been a fortnights smokes,,,

The need for alcohol to accomplish the oxidizing process is an urban myth. I was researching this very issue a couple of months ago, and found that it is indeed possible to complete the process while stone cold sober.

The downside to the experiment is that the hand applying the butane torch was shaking so much that I burnt the fingers holding the tweezers that were holding the mesh..

While not totally necessary, a couple of drinks before hand would prevent the shaking hand, and make a trip to the chemist unnecessary for the wife to get the burn treatment stuff
