4 month Vaper

Hey guys I've been here lurking awhile searching and reading.

Been vamping for 4 months now and might I say I love it. Since my journey on semi quitting ciggys

I've made a bit of purchases such as

snowwolf 200w
Snowwolf 75w
Ipv d2

And smoktfv4 + crownuwell

And I do vape as a everyday basis morning to night. I can quit cigarettes in an instant, a heavy smoker of 8years and just wondering so you guys sometimes still have 1-2 cigarettes when socializing with friends?

As in you have the vape there but just since everyone else is smoking you decide to join in for 1?

I'm just wondering if I am the only person doing this or is anyone else doing so? As knowing you can quit but to do it socially.

 

Tried that one night on the turps had a couple of drags never again

 

Hak everyone is different dude, I smoked and vaped together for about 6 months. I'd be happily vaping with a few beers with friends but at the end of the night when the hard liquor came out I'd get on the smokes...I'd not had a smoke all day then I'd have 10 at the end of a drinking session and my drinking sessions with my cousins go from mid morning to sun rise the next day, it never worried me...If you feel like a smoke when on the piss have one. ..give it time mate and you'll not want a smoke when drinking.

 

I've said it once and I'll say it again. The only reason I stopped smoking was affordability. I could no longer afford $32 every 2 days.
When in out, and someone's passing the pouch or pack round I might have one, but I'll never buy them or smoke full time again. Vaping tastes sooooo much better

 

I know everyone is different and I'm just asking if anyone still has a few smokes here and there while they are vaping, I don't mind vaping have no problems I vape all day long, as I'm just saying does anyone have em here and there as a social thing.

As my wife hasn't quit smoking and I'm vaping but our normal routine was go out front together have a smoke talk shit. But me I have a vape so I can't be bothered to go out anymore be.comse I can now smoke in the house lol. But occasionally I will have a smoke just to keep up and keep the wife happy talking etc.

 

I also dual used for months until I got my hands on some good quality juice and gear. Didn't smoke at all then for months and when I next tried ciggies it made me feel really sick... Haven't looked back since then

I think what you're doing (denormalising smoking at your own pace) is a great way to chuck the fags in. Good on you mate :encouragement:

 

Thanks mate, its been a week now that i havn't gone for a cigarette with my wife so, as i think im just enjoying the new mod and juice i got in aha or im just

to lazy to go out ^^

 

No one smoked heavier than I did = One 50gram packet of Drum each & every day. Bought 7 X packets every Sunday from Woolies.
I'm guessing at least 40 years at that pace, maybe less tobacco/day 20 or more years before that?

Started vapeing 10/06/2010 and didn't want anything to do with tobacco since.
10/06/2011 = one year anniversary. I had one Drum rollie to celebrate
10/06/2012 = second year anniversary. I had one Drum rollie as above.
10.06/2013 = Thought about it, but decided against it.
2014 = As above.
2015 = as above.

New Years Day 2016, cleaning up at a friends place after the party the night before,
I was disgusted to find 6 X tailor made butts on the floor.

How was I so disgusting, for so long myself. YUK.

 

My husband and I didn't quit smoking at the same time but I used to smoke out on the patio and so when I gave up the cigs all together I sat with him on the patio at times, but eventually it got to the point where he was vaping too and neither one of us went out for a smoke (Winter and/or Summer may have had a lot to do with that). So for the last 3 years the patio was rarely ever used and got quite dusty and filled with spider webs. We had a nice clean out since, but mainly get our conversations in while having vape breaks away from our office (we work from home).

The hubs has a cigarette now and then but always outside. Neither one of us can deal with the cigarette smell these days.

 

Same with us our front porch is a mess (dirty) as i dont go out for cigarettes and its only my wife, but now i got her a vape she is going to try and i told her maybe start off
at home vaping and at work have a smoke and slowly work into having less cigarettes at work. But we will see how it goes. I mean i wont force her and ill support her no matter what
her choice may be. And for myself i hate the smell of cigarettes now haha, but other than that im a happy full time vaper now.
