Pinkspot have some tasty mixes...but a bit to citrus for me, their banana creme was nice though. I missed u post flitter, but i hope i gets resolved.

My transition to the kanger carto's from vapeking has been great this week so i went back and ordered
2 more boxes of them ( to help suppliment the other carto's & atty's i already have on hand) to the poster that asked(sorr cant remember who) about burnt taste, i had a few dry hits upon a fresh fill, as usual try and let it soak a bit, i drop a few drops down the battery end ensuring the coils get a good soak. They are good to go straight away. Im sure you already know this so take no notice if you do.
I got me some vapeking 5ml fruss free juices - Spearmint, Strawberry, Soft Serve Vanilla Ice Cream & Banana Nut Bread,
Then i visited JW and ordered 10ml doublers 70pg 30vg
Double Apple Hookah,Jamaican Gold, Honeycomb, Honey Wood Tobacco, Berry Nice
And lastly a 30 ml bottle of ry4 in 12mg from smokeless image, some cappuchino carto's and a few more blanks.

Well... yeah. I think I left the saga off where they were going to re-send the shipment but I needed to pay the postage (that doesn't phase me because that's a standard thing with selling online) but they would require it to be sent Express via USPS because Express is actually tracked. I had no problems with that either ... UNTIL I saw that they were charging $49 US for Express shipping. What I ordered was $60 worth of goods. I'm not paying nearly $50 to get it here.

I asked for refund, they said no. The best they could offer me was a gift certificate for the value of my purchase ($60.40). After thinking about it, I decided that as long as they would allow me to transfer the certificate to a 3rd party, then that would be the way I'd go with it. My plan is to offer it to USA vapers (since the postage is so much cheaper from USA to USA) for $50. This would give the lucky person a $10 discount in total, and it would give me at least $50 back to maybe buy some other juices from say Virgin Vapors or something. I talked to Brad (one of the owners) about this plan and he's OK with it.

I put a couple posts on a couple Facebook vaping forums but most of those are so busy it gets buried pretty quick - and it was during their Vape Bash meets as well. So the next thing I'm going to do is post an article on my blog about it and pretty much write everything that I've written here and offer it up with a screen shot of the gift certificate Email (with the code blurred of course) and then post links to the blog on Facebook, Twitter, etc. Not sure I should put here since postage from them is rather pricey. But anyone reading this that IS interested, by all means, send me a PM. I would love to have this fully resolved and the gift certificate passed on to someone who can make use of it.

I thought about maybe just ordering some stuff for my son in law (he's in Michigan & smokes) but I don't want to be a pushy mother in law. LOL!

 

Flitterby hmmm that kind of sux. Did they explain the empty box? It should not cost you for their mistake. And 50 for postage is outrageous.

just ordered 120Mls of Copper Creek house blend, 30Ml Twisted tobacco, 30Ml VooDoo. Also ordered 150mls (5x30Ml) of various tob Juices from The Vapor Station. With some other supplies from local vendors i reckon i have spent close to $400 this week lol.

A Krimson Kustoms duel 18650 VV vari-cool box mod. He has only just made it and sent it off. took over a month for him as he has had work, family and school drama's. I along with a couple other people have been the last people he will make a mod for. I think it looks really cool. Here are the pics of it that he had posted on the ECF ImageShack(TM) slideshow

 

The old empty box trick. It had been used on me once before. It is so they have proof to paypal that they had sent it. Best thing to do is google around for other people with a simular experience and make a group complaint to the ambudsman.

 

a ming drip tip, some switches and some prewired battery connectors from madvapes. trying to get the centre post and the insulator back into the connector after soldering the wire on it a complete pain in the ass. so i'm going to cheat and get prewired ones

 

More Virgin Vapor juices the other day (to beef up my stock - no pun intended!) and some health cabin stuff.

 

If you think that's the reason, check the weight on the shipping label, they may have missed that bit.

 

They said it left there full, and put the blame on customs and also claim tampering as they 'never use clear packing tape' which was in my description of the condition of the box when it arrived.



LOL, you are so right. I sit corrected. It was supposed to be though! Now I have to go find some Reeces PB Cups to make up for it.



It was purchased via Credit Card. The site is in the USA and sells Ecig products so probably aren't allowed to use PayPal.

I will be taking this up with the post office this week too because we have a new delivery guy the last few weeks and whilst I normally have a great rapport with the delivery people there's something truly a bit sleazy about this new guy, and it when I was signing for stuff on Thursday it ran through my mind that he may have been the culprit. This is the part that really bothers me because if it was tampered with, are they going to (or have they already) tried to drink it?? (The sadist b*tch in me hopes so, but the rest of me is rather sickened by the thought).

Also, there was a very - VERY - faint whiff of juice smell if I brought the box to my nose. Could be just from being in the shop with juices, or it could have been there was juice in the box and it went missing along the way. So I'll have to put in a report. Can't imagine much coming out of it, but I have to follow through on it if only just to tick off the boxes on things I should do.

 

Hi Flitterby. Been away from the Forum for a bit and just read your post. I am really sorry to hear that this has happened to you. I was wondering if there is any way to tell from the shipping documents what the parcel weighed when it was posted and how much the shipping cost was. This could maybe give you an idea of whether it was posted empty or not.

 

Unfortunately, no. It was in a pre-paid USPS box. (Small Flat Rate).

 

Oh, it must be different from the States. Just looked at the Customs Declaration on my last lot from China and it has the weight on there.

Even though this vendor is not great on the customer relationship side of things, it seems very odd that he would send out an empty box. If it is your delivery man, yours probably wouldn't be the only parcel that had been tampered with. It's a good thing that you're reporting it because there may be others in the same situation. It's a real bummer. I wish you good luck with it and I hope you get a good resolution.

 

Flitterby, i just find that whole thing very suspicious. If someone were to steal the contents of your box, why not just steal the whole lot? (box included) Maybe it was customs, but then they would have left a note. It has probably passed through many pairs of hands and is going to be impossible to find out who actually took it

 

I think this highlights that we take for granted that vendors will not rip off the consumer, largely due to the great service we get here.
Perhaps a thread in the new vapers and general discussion boards about which vendors to avoid as a sham might help.
