burnt waxy taste

I have an Evod battery and Aspire tank and coil. refilled my tank and 2 things happened. My fully recharged battery wouldn't activate. I had to try several times to get the light to switch on. Anyway when the battery finally activated I inhaled this toxic burnt wax type taste. After a few inhales that tasted the same, I emptied the tank and replaced my coil and refilled. I still feel the burnt waxy taste. It isn't the e liquid be.comse it tasted fine previous times. Any advice?

 

Sounds like a dry hit. did you give the clearo a few pulls without firing to soak the coil firstup? Did you give the liquid some time to soak in?
