Va = { [ Vc x (Dc - Ds) ] / [ Dn - Ds ] } - Vc

= { [ 100mL x (9mg/mL - 100mg/mL) ] / [ 15mg/mL - 100mg/mL ] } - 100mL

= { [ - 9100mL / -85mL] } - 100mL

= 107mL - 100mL

= 7mL

You just plug in your 4 numbers -

1. Current concentration of nicotine
2. Desired Concentration
3. Concentration of your stock nicotine
4. Current volume

and work it all out with a calculator. No thinking is required.

Well, lets look at the alternative way(meaning easy) shall we?

Using the OP as the example:
I have 100mls of juice at 9mg/ml.
I want to raise it up to 15mg/ml using 100mg/ml nic.

100ml x 9mg/ml = 900mg
100ml x 15mg/ml = 1500mg
1500 - 900 = 600, so we need to add 600mg of nicotine to the 100ml @ 9mg/ml, that we already have.

Using 100mg/ml unflavored, 600mg / 100mg/ml = 6ml .
So to get the extra 600mg, we need 6ml of 100mg/ml but now we have a minor problem, we have 106ml, not 100ml so we still won't have 15mg/ml.

So let's round up to 110ml total liquid:
110ml x 15mg/ml = 1650mg
1650 - 900(the nic we already have in the 100ml @ 9mg/ml) = 750(what we need to add)
750 / 100mg/ml = 7.5ml

So you need to add 7.5ml @ 100mg/ml and 2.5ml of PG or VG to make 110ml of 15mg/ml unflavored.

It is easier for most people to calculate in multiples of 10, which is why 100mg/ml is easier to calculate for most people, when adding it to get the correct nic strength.

No difference between 14.95mg & 15mg. Your measurements will be off by at least 1% anyway.
7.05882ml rounded to 5 decimal places makes it 15mg.

@Noe Yeh simple. Give me 48 hours and I can solve any basic math problem The rest will take me several days and another 100 monkeys. Better to do it once and save it in excel for math challenged people.
