    That is completely false, as withdrawal symptoms are associated with the lack of nicotine, not the lack of the other chemicals found in cigarettes. In the worst case scenario, one person might find himself or herself having just a little withdrawal because vaping reduced a little of the nicotine level, and also you do not get that burnt sensation on your neck, but nothing more than that. Those withdrawal symptoms you are talking about are only if you quit smoking cold turkey and do not have any more nicotine source such as vaping or gum.

    Quitting anything is hard, and I think even if we're using gum, patches or vaping as a way to quit then we'll all experience a certain level of withdrawal symptoms at one stage or another.

    Seems like you do not smoke way too much, it might not be as harmful as if you smoked a box in a day, you could try lowering the ammount of cigarettes that you daily smoke, you gotta go slowly step by step in order to make it happen, just believe in yourself and it will happen that way.

    On the bright side, it is only 3 cigarettes. Some smokers smoke a pack a day or more. It's tough for anyone to quit smoking. Have you tried vaping or nicotine products?

    Sometimes that's what it takes, and not everyone can quit cold turkey. Some people do have to gradually cut down and use the nicotine replacement products that are available, but there's no shame in that.

    The shame is not even trying in the first place.

    It's all about dedication and hard work. Maybe distract yourself from it? I always liked playing video games, and it really distracted me when I was dieting. Focus on a small goal for starters, for example, Reduce your cigarettes from 3 per day to just 2. Don't cold turkey it, gradually decrease it. That is the secret to successfully retaining progress.

    Video games are a good example, but that activity could be anything that keeps your mind occupied aswell as your body.

    Just doing something makes a difference, and keeping busy is the best thing you can do.

    Not really, if you ever were a smoker who tried to reduce from 15 to 5 a day, you'd know what I'm talking about, there comes some days, when you simply need that extra cigarette, because of social interaction and pressure, or simply because you took an extra one when you weren't supposed to. Everyone says it's better to do it cold turkey, because that way you do not torment your body by making the withdrawal period last longer.
