First time you heard about e-cigs

Hm... did you mean "turn off", right? I agree, to some extent. Some people care, some people don't. She didn't care much, as she was a former smoker.

Well, we didn't talk that much about that. I was interested in her as a human being, not as a walking encyclopedia. But yeah, she gave me some basics. I'm glad that girl was pretty smart.

 

Haha, who cares right? So at the same time you were introduced to a cute girl and to vaping, I have to say it's a day to remember.

 

Haha. That's the first thing that I thought of aswell. The girl was cute, that's the first thing you noticed, you then noticed she happened to be vaping so that was the excuse, sorry...I meant 'reason' to go over and start talking to her!

I first found out about vaping through a streamer. He was using this device which had a sh** tonne of smoke coming out of it. At first I thought he was using marijuana and using one of those huge pipe things, but it turned out hew as just vaping. I don't remember the streamer though incase anyone wants to know, but it was on justin.tv.

 

I first heard of them when all my friends would smoke hookah pens. I remember everyone having them and the school started suspending students after the found out you could store weed in them. Obviously we couldn't smoke them in school but if you were even caught with one on you, you'd be in trouble. This was a couple of years ago though, I'm not sure if they are even around anymore.

 

The first time I heard about it was from the E-cig commercials with Steven Dorf, the actor that was in the movie "Blade". I'm not sure if I can remember seeing anyone use a vape before that. I knew of vaporizers for weed that you could use to vaporize the thc.

 

Yes, turn off, I don't know why I wrote "out" instead. For some reason, when I look at smokers, I only see the weakness behind it, persons who haven't been able to resist society in the first place, and in the second they weren't strong enough to quit.

 

The mall kiosks were where I first saw it too! I remember I used to hate going to the mall because after awhile I craved a cigarette so bad! I couldn't help but notice the kiosk and the guy so cheerfully vaping there. I didn't buy from him but it wasn't long after I first tried in. In retrospect, I wish I'd given him the sale, it's been such a blessing to me!

 

It did used to be quiet a rare occurrence to see people using them, and if we was all smoking and a person pulled one out then it would soon become the focal point of the conversation. These days though, with the rise in popularity vaping as had, it's not unusual to see a person vaping these days, it a almost common.

 

I think the same about people who smoke over and over. People who can't just stop and do that every 10 minutes. It sets a terrible vibe.

 

I had a friend that one day came home with an e-cig, he told me that it could help people quit smoking. Now after 3 years of vaping I can confidently say that I am no longer addicted to smoking.

 

While I think that most people will say that vaping isn't as bad for us as smoking is, the question they'll then throw at you is you might not now be addicted to smoking, but are you addicted to vaping, now instead?

Are we just replacing one addiction with another one, even though it's not as bad for us, is that enough to justify it?

 

Even if we are replacing one addiction by the other, we are replacing a worse addiction by a far better one, so that's enough for me.

 

Technically it's still the same addiction. People aren't addicted to tobacco, they're addicted to the nicotine in tobacco.

 

I saw them in one of the articles on the internet actually. It sounded really cool. One of my cousins actually showed it to me and it felt really different from the regular cigarettes.

 

Regular e-cig user here. I first heard about vaping from advertisements at the store where I bought cigarettes from. The first time I vaped, I used an atomizer belonging to a friend. But later I settled for e-cigs as they are just more convenient for me. I buy refills for cheap online, and haven't really had any issues. Also, I've saved a lot of money.

 

That's pretty great, buying online is the best when saving money is concerned and the products have the best quality.

 

I think everyone I know who vapes buys their liquids online these days, and it does make me wonder if there's any reason to even have the physical stores or kiosks selling vapes that we still see.

All the ones around here are always empty so they can't make that much money I wouldn't have thought.

 

Yeah, I think the ones buying their liquids on physical stores most likely do it because they are beginners or because the live near a store.

 

That probably is the case to be honest because every time ice seen people in there, they've been trying out different kits and various liquids as if it is their first time and they want to see what all the fuss is about.

That's the only time the offline store can beat the online one I think, when you want to actually go and test something before buying it.
