Do you vape while eating?

I have a strict rule to not vape while I'm eating. If there are other people around me, I ask for their permission to vape, but while I am the one eating, I never vape, I find it hard to finish the meal if I vape in between, as the nicotine seems to be driving my appetite off. Also, back when I was a smoker, I had the same habit, only that back then I would wait for everyone to finish their meal in order to smoke, not ask for their permission (as smoke is a lot more dense than vapors).

 

I've never even thought of vaping while eating. The thought of vaping between bites is just strange to me. I can't recall anything similar when I was smoking cigarettes.

 

I have vaped while waiting for a meal, but never during a meal. Food is far more enjoyable than vaping. I haven't ever thought of vaping or smoking during a meal.

 

I don't have the habit of vaping while eating. It sounds very strange to me and in my opinion, it is better to vape after or before eating. Well, I am not an addict and I feel no need to vape while eating. I do it it anytime.

 

No I don't combine the two.
Even when I smoked darts I wouldn't smoke when I am eating, or even right after.
I find it strange when I watch old movies and people are smoking in a restaurant right in the middle of dinner!

 

It's very rare for people to smoke and eat at the same time, I've only seen it maybe once in my life and the guy was about 75 years old!

I never vape and eat and I'd be surprised if many people do.

 

Nope, never, it's something that doesn't make any sense in my head. After eating sure, it's something that I enjoy doing, but not at the same time.

 

Not at all and even the thought of vaping and eating at the same time seems a little ridiculous.

Being an ex smoker, I usually only vape when I would have normally been having a cigarette so times like after food or having a coffee or a beer, but never at the same time and I'd imagine most people would be the same?

 

Almost never. Nah, I'd say simply never. However, If it's a fancy dinner, then I probably can take a pause and go vape around.

 

I think one of the reasons that people vape is because they want something to do with their hands, and if this is the case then eating will mean that your hands are occupied, so you won't feel the need to vape. You wouldn't smoke while you were eating because it'd be dangerous with a lit cigarette so I don't think that many people would really feel the need to vape whilst eating, as it would never be a habit that had formed in the first place.

 

No I haven't. I don't even want to sort of think about it either. I don't think I have seen anyone do that though my circle is relatively small, mainly people at work. To me it would be sort of weird. Also, like other posters already mentioned, if your hands are busy, and your mouth is busy, I don't think you'd be able to or want to vape anyways.

 

I do not vape while eating or when others are eating, I think people can take offence because of it. My work place let us vape in the staff room, but only on one side, which lets people sit in a smoke free enviroment on the other, which is fair I think!

Some of my friends vape and eat a meal at the same time, pausing to have a vape. I do not understand why anyone would want to pause from eating! Maybe I just love my food too much haha!

 

Hmmm... I have tried vaping while eating but the flavours mostly clash with the food. Maybe if you vape without flavour, it would be fine. Personally though, I vape for the flavours and I cannot see the sense in vaping when I cannot have the flavours, lol. Although I know some people do vape without flavour and just with some nicotine in it. That would go great with food, I guess.

I try to vape an hour or more after eating. I figured that I cannot taste the flavours well if I vape immediately after eating. Again, it clashes with whatever food I ate. And even people I know who vape, don't vape while eating. In fact, I haven't seen anyone do this.

 

I have to tell you that you are terribly wrong, unless you were referring to the people who vapes liquid with 0 nicotine, they are vaping because they are addicted to nicotine, and that way they administrate the daily dose. So far, vaping seems to be the healthiest alternative to administrate an unhealthy drug.

 

Um... No thanks. I wouldn't want my vaping device to be nasty and full of food particles!

There are quite a few reasons lol, but having the vaping device filled with food is a good one.

 

No I don't vape while I'm eating, will only vape after everyone has stopped eating before I start vaping. I vape the same way that I used to smoke. I didn't like it when I used to be eating and someone used to smoke so I never did that to others.

 

No, I already enjoy devouring food, I would not like to vape during eating. I think some people who do it as a way to pair flavours? One thing I want to try is pair custard flavour while drinking coffee, it sounds delicious. I also hear you can pair vaping with wine. Until I go down that path, I am convinced vaping while eating would ruin my appetite.

 

I vape every after meal. Except when I am eating sweets or drinking high sugar drinks. It makes my throat hurt especially when my juice preference are usually pastry type. I used to be a heavy chain smoker when drinking out with friends, so when drinking liquor, I could finish a 30 ML bottle of e-juice in one session.
