I just started vaping and someone let me use their nautilis mini and i guess it's not bad. I really don't know since I'm so new. What does everyone else recommend or like the best?

Do you have a vape store near you? I would suggest heading there and trying various setups. That is how I got into vaping, they give you mouth filters to prevent germs, and you can try various ones and choose what you like, you can also sample flavours for free. Good luck!

I would check out a local store. I found that going in person to test things out was very beneficial vs. ordering online. I am not a shopper at all and I prefer online shopping but when it comes to vaping, nothing beats an in-store experience. They will mix samples up for you to try and depending on the associates, they are usually pretty knowledgeable and ease you into a purchase. Good luck to you.

I have a couple of pieces of advice to add to what has been said. I would stay away from the "cig-alikes" that you can pick up at many convenience stores and smoke shops. They can get quite expensive and they are really unsatisfying. I started with those about ten years ago, and went back to smoking.

I know that some stores in my area try to recommend subohm batteries to newbies. Don't do it until you learn more about vaping because mishandling the batteries or vaping too much can lead to harmful consequences.

What type of battery are you using right now?

I can recommend the following for a newbie vaper like you:
    • V2 Pro Series. At $59.99, this device will certainly fit your budget and your needs. It is very easy to use, lightweight and sleek-looking as well. Aside from that, it has an LED screen that shows when the battery is full or charging. Definitely a great buy for an affordable price.
    • Subox Mini Starter Kit. At $44.07, this kit is complete for you. You can choose the white with black theme or the red with black theme.
Good luck! And try asking the store owner for the best seller kits in there. Hopefully, that can help you as well.

I second these suggestions, the Subox Mini starter kit is a good option. It can be quite pricy depending where you live, it retails for $75 here in China. I got the red and black. suboxmini.jpg

I saw the suggestions given above, and changed my mind about making a couple of recommendations. The Kanger Subox kit is a nice kit for intermediate users who know that they enjoy vaping and can afford the cost of the kit itself plus the 18650 battery. Depending on your situation, you might need to get a second 18650 battery and charger if you do not have access to a USB port to charge the battery. It's initial cost is a bit high partly due to the kit, but also because you will use more ejuice in a subohm tank than in a regular tank; unless you are a light smoker (less than half a pack a day).

I recommend one of these setups:

    • An Ego style battery with the Nautilus mini or Kanger Aerotank is a good setup for a beginner, but you'll want to upgrade soon if you enjoy vaping.
    • The Eleaf iStick is the least expensive, and doesn't require much fiddling to get a decent vape out of. However, if you really get into vaping, you'll probably find yourself upgrading from this pretty quickly.
    • Innokin MVP 2.0 with the Nautilus mini or Kanger Aerotank is the setup my husband started out with. More expensive than the other two, it does require some fiddling; however, it's an upgrade from the other two in terms of power. The battery life on this thing is pretty awesome, my husband could vape heavily for a couple to three days before needing to recharge it.

Nice find, Whitt! I checked it out and it looks really sweet. Wish that there was something like this when I first started vaping. I was looking at prices, and it's pretty inexpensive at around $30. By the way, it's on sale at MFS for $25.95.

I would recommend looking at many reviews and sort out the ones that you are intrigued by. Then heading to a vape store and trying out those brands along with others at the store comparing your favorite ones.

I am tempted to buy it based solely on the beautiful colours. They are so pretty!

I use the Apollo Premium device for vaping. It consists of one of the powerful batteries that a vaping device can have. The sensation while using it feels like the real cigars. It has unique 'Clearomizer' technology which produces superior flavour. It has limited lifetime warranty. It also has 30 days money back Guarantee. I would recommend it for you. You should buy it if you are a newbie.

If you are quiting smoking the regular cigarettes, then you should start with the tobacco flavored e juices. And if you are totally new for smoking and you want to try vaping for the first time, you should try any sweet, dessert or menthol flavored e juices.
